Stayed for 8 nights in seaview room Its a nice hotel but very noisy at night when band playing so hard to get to sleep and with the foam party the duff duff music starts to drive you mad, the staff seem to be a little dis-interested mainly at breakfast when there is no low fat milk and you ask for more and they say they run out (twice by the way) maybe teach the chef to cook an omelette this would have had to been the worst hotel for breakfast's I have ever experianced, also buy a toster that actually toasts the bread and you dont have to stand there for 20 minutes keep running the bread through until it cooks enough to resemble toast.
Then upon check out they had the hide to charge us for a pizza we never ordered and interrogated me I kept trying to tell her that we did not buy anything from any of their restaurants. The guys who clean the room could at least restock tissues and give you some more tea bags and change the sheets and pillow cases every day which was not the case.
Have to say the gym was really good except no water on two days with an empty 20 litre bottle sitting on top of the dispenser, the pool area was nice but get there early as they do no have enough sun lounges, Its a pity the beach is so dirty and the hassle of everyone wanting you to use the jet skis you cant even sit on the sun lounge without being hassled etc I would have just used the beach. Don't eat at the hotel walk up the road at night around 6.30pm and go to Long beach for about 2.00 AUD you can get a nice meal and its clean.

My partner and I spent 4 nights at the hotel and have nothing but praise for it. From the fab buffet breakfast, to the great meals at the Hard Rock cafe, we had a ball.

Rooms are well appointed and nearly all of them overlook the pools and the sea. Lots of memorabilia and the bathroom design is very funky.

Live bands every night and great rock musiv playing 24/7 on the PA system and the TV if you want.

Although we didn't buy anything at the Hard Rock shops (3) there was a heap to choose from.

Just up the road is a fantastic hawker centre with a great variety of local foods and of course, Tiger beer ! Hard Rock have a shuttle to there from 6.20 every night although its only a 10-15 min walk.

Did a couple of tours fro mthe Hotel lobby and although its a bit our of Georgetown, it is still wekk located.

I would go back again. It is great for singles, couples and kids.

Service was fab and the staff were ALL courteous and helpful.

We stayed here last october with a young child and enjoyed our stay. We got a good deal through their website so it was also quite cheap. Its a little far from the main area of Batu Ferringhi but taxi's are plentiful and cheap.

They have lots of activities to keep everyone entertained and the pool was pretty good.

There are convenience stores right across the road from the hotel and also a little restaurant if youre after local food.

We stayed at this resort for 7 nights in September with our 2 children aged 5 and 6. This has been the best resort we have stayed in, the rooms are clean and modern, breakfast didn't have a large selection but did have great food, the pool was amazing!! The kids absolutely loved the waterpark in the pool area and so did the grown ups!! The hotel holds a foam dance party on Saturday nights, in the afternoon they hold a kids only party up to about 7pm and then they have the adults foam party into the night....great fun!!
The hotel is walking distance to the markets and restaraunts, make sure you go to Long beach for dinner (near golden sands), it's about a 10 to 15 min walk or you can use the free Hotel Shuttle service. Long beach has some great food, the spring roll and pancake stall (near the entry) are a must!! Also for great chinese food go to The Golden Thai, it's a gorgeous restaraunt on the beach with beautiful sunsets!!
