Amazing slice of paradise not to be missed when visiting the region. Be sure to visit Sublime if you're anywhere near Oamaru and you will not be disappointed.

From waking up to views of endless vineyards, to discovering the area on foot in any variety of walks, through to signing off the day with outrageously good food and extraordinary wine; a stay at Sublime is a treat for all of the senses with entertaining hospitality.

Be sure not to miss this North Otago gem.

It is very rare to have such interesting discussions with owners: we had the impression that we have known Fenella & Steve for years. They have the ability to transform about everything into gold.

Diner & breakfast were excellent, with a very tasty wine produced at your door step, homemade bread is a killer,

Our 2 sons have been playing all the time outside with the owners' children

All was made to make our stay comfortable.

As Kiwi as an experience can get. Arrived to beautiful country style welcome and proceeded to relax and actually unwind. Had one of the best dinners of my entire NZ trip and to drink such great wine made from vineyards thirty metres from the dining room was quite special. Have to also mention the Locally caught Hare that we had for main......Yum. Slept so well and awoke to a craking breakfast. Steve and Fenella are a very nice couple and great hosts. The biggest surprise of this trip was how good the Skiing was the following day at Ohau! It is now officially my favorite mountain to ski in NZ cause theres lots of terrain and no one there! Highly recommend this quirky little retreat

Upon arrival up the dusty track we weren't sure what to expect but our short stay couldn't have been nicer. Fenella and Steve were thoroughly accommodating and the room was lovely. Had a great time going for bike rides and runs in the local farmland. The home cooked meal was one of the best in the South Island; Steve's home smoked salmon as well as the veal pie and meringue was all outstanding. Not to mention the accompanying homegrown wine; both the white and red were thoroughly quaffable! Overall a great stay with great hosts, certainly worth a visit.

A great place to stay if you want something a bit different and quirky. We stayed in the recently renovated milking shed which was self contained complete with compost toilet and unique artefacts. We had an evening meal which was amazing and the breakfast was very tasty too. Hosts fenella and Steve were welcoming and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. All in all a good stay.
