Short ride from the airport to this hotel, about 10-15 minutes ride and appears very popular, our taxi driver was telling us about how everything is close to this hotel (appears even locals stay here).
If you exit the hotel and turn left, walk straight till you hit a main road and make a left, along that road is McDonalds, 7/11, some local convenience stores etc. Keep walking down along this road and to your right is Senate Square, you will see it as you walk, can't possibly miss it! Very long street with plenty of boutique stores etc. If you need to get to Hac Sa on the other island, where the Venetian Casino is, when you exit the hotel, make a left, as soon as you reach the red lights, cross it and turn left, walk along that road and you will see the bus signs, jump on bus 26A and it will take you to Hac Sa, you will know when to get off since you can't really miss the Venetian...
Ordered room service as we were too tired to go out, rice with stewed pork was decent but it took almost an hour to arrive.
Room was very clean, bathroom was very clean and a moderate selection of amenities were provided. 2 bottles of water were provided each day however the mini bar, well there is no mini bar. There is a small mini bar fridge in the cupboard, which is on but it was completely empty, we did however found that someone had left the complimentary wrapper from the complimentary water bottle in the fridge. So I assume that the house keepers don't even bother looking in there since no snacks or beverages are offered.
Free wifi only if your booking includes it, otherwise you will have to pay for a temp user name and password daily. Wifi is horrible though, even with full connection, it was very slow and required relogin via the webpage very 5-10 minutes! No complimentary wired internet either.
Overall would stay again, but a mini bar with items might be handy.
