Wow. The Pandora hotel is brilliant. Its a small enclosed hotel set around the pool and bar area as its centre piece. We stayed in one of the bungalows and we can honestly say it was by far the best hotel we stayed in, in Thailand. The staff are very welcoming, so friendly and they make an effort to get to know you. They are a small team but they treat their guests like family. Nothing was too much to ask of them, particularly Tony, who is one of the owners. There is a very relaxed atmosphere at Pandora, and all the natural and local products used/on offer reflect this approach.
Rooms: Big, clean, spacious and very modern with a good bathroom. We found the free Wifi and in room PC with large flat screen TV monitor very useful. It also has 1000s of movies to watch for free. The AirCon is very good and has a handy remote control. Theres also a nice touch in that you have a remote control that sets the colour theme of the room, very cool novlety touch!
Breakfast: Amazing. So much choice and everything is made fresh by Kai and his wife. You will leave for the beach and not be hungry again for hours and hours!
Location: At the northern end of Chaweng, so closer to the airport. Main area of bars etc is about 5-10 minutes walk, so for us this was just perfect. To the beach is a two minute walk straight across the road.
I cant recommend this hotel highly enough, it is really fabulous, with the special service and attention to detail that you would expect at a 5* resort.

My partner and I had originally booked our first 2 of 11 nights in Samui at Pandora. Once we arrived we were shown to our room which was absolutely amazing!!! We were blown away with the awesome set up and lights that makes this hotel so unique and instantly we knew we needed more than 2 nights here. After playing with the lights and taking photo after photo of the room we went outside to look around the garden and again couldn't put the camera down. Outside we met the owner of the hotel Yannik (not sure if I spelt that right) and his wonderful family. They made us feel very welcome at the hotel and straight away we were all getting along like we had been friends for years. We spoke to Yannik about staying for an extra 3 nights and he was able to help us out then and there. We spent an extra night in the room we were in then moved to another room which was just as beautiful and comfortable as the last one. We then sadly left Pandora to go to our next hotel that we had booked before we came to Thailand and had arranged to come back and visit Yannik and his family for a beer at the hotel bar. When we came back to visit we missed being there so much that we asked if we could stay again for the rest of our time in Samui. Again, they were able to put us up in another room which we appreciated so much and were so happy to return, it felt like we had come back to our home away from home :)

As for the features of the hotel...

- The rooms are very spacious with awesome light that have a remote so you can change the settings, a massive computer which is also a TV, big beds, cool shower with a lit up shower head, free WiFi, fully stocked mini bar (which has been rated as high quality :D)
complimentry bottles of water, in room safe and a massive selection of movies and of course very good air conditioning.

- Outside has the biggest Jacuzzi I have ever seen (with pretty lights), a big bar area (with pretty lights) lots of plants and statues again surrounded by pretty lights, a dining area with awesome breakfast and a beautiful kitty Mimi.

- The staff are very friendly and helpful, Kai (the bartender) made us really good cocktails and got us to try heaps of different ones and suggested loads of things for us to do. Wan, who works in reception helped us organise our day trips. The security guard (can't remember his name) who just made us laugh a lot.

We can honestly say that this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in and will definitely be returning to Pandora. We had loads of fun here and can't thank them enough for their hospitality and making our stay the best holiday ever!

Great welcoming staff. Walk across the road through another hotel and you are on the northern and quieter end of Chaweng Beach. Wan was very helpful - she works on the front desk. Yanick ,manager also very helpful and friendly. Rooms very comfortable with great internet and free movies. 5 nights went far too quickly.

We absolutely loved staying at Pandora Hotel. From the first contact with Pandora we knew we would have a great stay. It is such a quaint little property, the rooms were as described in previous reviews. The bed was a bit firm for our liking but was still comfortable enough. The bathroom was huge, very cool indeed! Everything was very clean, the amenities were local natural products and smelt amazing.
The daily breakfast is excellent. We also enjoyed yummy cocktails every night with complimentary canapes which were delicious.
The wifi and large tv/computer were also an added bonus although we didn't use all that much.
Overall exceptional value, we will be back for sure(just hope we can get a room as more and more people are discovering this hidden gem)!
