L'Armartinierre is in a small rural village on the borders of the Somme. It is well placed for visiting WW1 Battlefields or as a stopover when travelling further south - it's just over an hour or so from Calais, reasonable access to the A26 and A1.
The B&B is on a working farm but is not part of the main building, the rooms are in a converted outbuilding. Our room (slept up to 5) was clean and well maintained with comfortable furniture. Breakfast is eaten in a room in the same building and was typically French. Madame is very welcoming and also speaks excellent English.
Good value for money, even compared to the F1 Hotels, and strongly recommended.
