When figuring out what to do and see while visiting Brugge, the main website to visit is the city’s official one. Unlike most city official websites, this one may be the only stop you have to make when planning out your journey, it is simply that comprehensive and self-contained.
Once you choose the language in which you wish to navigate the site, you will immediately find yourself bombarded with information geared towards the tourist. Choose: museums or more general tourism. At this point you can find extensive recommendations and precise plans for walking tours of the city, as well as detailed photographic and textual descriptions of the architectural and museum sightseeing to be done. The site links to others but does not need to—all the information you would want on the destinations are accessible, evaluative, and thorough.
Brugesinfo.com also furnishes a user-friendly interface for learning about all the historic port town has to offer the eyes, ears, and stomach. Be sure to check out the practical information the site provides, from details on Belgium’s recent marijuana legalization to the location of the city’s museum on Belgian chocolate to electricity specifications useful for the American traveler with a laptop.
