Loved the selection of complimentary tv shows and documentaries. You can pay an extra $10 for unlimited movies but I had plenty to watch regardless. Great online order of food on the plane. Everything comes to you so quickly but make sure you order any hot items immediately as they sell out. Staff very friendly, safety video was unique and...

I'm not a frequent flyer but my experience with Air NZ was great! I have learnt that prep is the key to getting awesome flight prices. Tickets are no longer a must and everything can be done by phone! The attendant s were super amazing for the one hour flight. Having two young girls serve passengers lollies I thought it...

So many options to choose from despite ANZ's domestic services offer just Economy Class. So many rules to obey. More self-service seems impossible. The advantage: you pay only for extras. No extras means very reasonable ticket prices. Check-in with extra paid for extra bagage at a check-in machine might be quite an exercise. A foreign traveller with maximum luggage and...

I recently flew with Hong Kong airlines (don't do it) and they lost my luggage. Air New Zealand kindly had it delivered to my home address today even though I didn't even fly with them! Absolutely fantastic and much appreciated!

We upgraded our seating. After boarding I was asked to move from my assigned premium economy seat to a standard seat when another passenger wanted their relative to be given my seat. I was treated rudely and offered compensation of a $30 voucher for future travel. They forgot that all passengers are customers. Food was typical "airline food", barely palatable....

We didn't book with Air NZ - this flight was a codeshare with Singapore airlines. Among the worst checkins in the world. Online checkin not permitted. Print your own boarding pass, tag your own bag, then fight your way to the bag drop which tells you to put the heaviest bag on first - but how do you know which...

Despite a super slow checkin experience, the rest of the interaction with Air NZ was fantastic. The boarding, flight attendants, flight, entertainment was fantastic. Flight Attendants...I don't know if we just lucked out or if all their flight attendants are as friendly, professional and helpful as the ones that we interacted with on our flight, but they were some of...

All that you would expect from ANZ so good on every level but just seemed to be missing that extra level of specialness to which I have become accustomed. The crew were warm friendly and efficient, the IFE choice was not fabulous for me but others seemed to be happy, and for the first time in a long time the...

We recently booked with Air New Zealand to the Sunshine Coast to fly on Christmas Eve to be with family. We like a little luxury so we chose to book the more expensive "Works" fare. Currently Air NZ does not fly direct to this destination so we transited in Melbourne and had to change flights in Melbourne. A busy day...
