We upgraded our seats to premium economy to get more leg room. I do not think there was any difference in leg room, i thought we had less leg space than jet star or virgin Australia in economy. We were only offered water, tea, or coffee. At least on the worst American airlines we get soda and a small bag...

My wife and I splurged on the Business Premier seats for a flight from LAX to Auckland, and back. Well worth it. We slept well on both flights, able to completely stretch out. The flight attendants were outstanding--attentive and courteous. Good food also, and plenty of entertainment options. My only gripe is that we had some anxiety about making our...

Despite inclement weather conditions with severa am cancellation flight left on time and arrived early into Christchurch giving excellent service. Always a pleasure to travel on this fine airline which makes many look very amatuerish. Check in and bag handling first rate making travelling domestically in New Zealand a real pleasure.

On line and self service checkin were not available to us at Auckland International. We held one way tickets because we were due to join a cruise in Tahiti. We knew visas would be issued on arrival, but the computer did not. There was no advance notice of this and there were no Air NZ staff available to explain this...

Air New Zealand is our preferred airline. The food, service, comfort and in flight entertainment are always very good however our experience on this flight was a bit lacking. We were only able to secure economy seats and I guess you get what you pay for regarding seats and food, however the service is extremely different from premium economy and...

I have done this trip many times before but never used this airline. All I can say is that for future trips I will definitely use this airline again over the other competitors on the route. Off course i was very lucky since I got a three seater row all for my self, and on top of that these seats...

They used both the front and rear doors to board and de-board the plane - which speeded up both timeframes. Seats were comfortable for the short flight. They also provided complimentary cookies, drinks and hard candy.

First time experience with NZ001 was a positive surprise! After 2 disappointing flights on the new Swiss 777 business bed (narrow arm and feet room, unfunctional design and a headphone jack which doesn't match with the universal plane adapter) I decided to try NZ. Although the seat arrangement is not ideal with passengers facing to the alley and a lot...

We had a flight from L.A. to Auckland. About 2 months before we had the flight we requested online an upgrade to economy premium. A full month later we got a very rude 'not possible' from the customer service of Air New Zealand and that we should ask at the check in counter in L.A. That's what we did. Also...
