Flew first flight from AKL to SYD, seat width was very tight compare to 777. Staff was friendly and kids got toys.
Negative: small food portions, reserved sky couch but flight staff didn’t get information Positive: spacious and comfortable seats, friendly staff, clean and above average size toilets.
This was my first experience flying Air New Zealand and I can now understand why they have been voted one of the best airlines to fly. Flying premium economy obviously gave more comfortable seats, but the rest of the service was not related to this. Everything else was as you would want it: easy check-in; all the staff are very...More
Great flight, early morning one but no delays, organised, easy flight and love the screens on the back of the seats - so necessary for a long flight. Didn't have a meal but a few treats and loved the ability to say hello to someone in another seat - such fun.
Great Airline! Guaranteed good service and comfort. My husband is 6’4 and finds a lot of seats tight so we paid the additional $25 each to have 2 seats at the back. We didn’t find much of a difference space wise, but it was nice to not have someone beside us..They’re super friendly and go out of their way to...More
The flight was okay, but we have paid for extras as movies and food. Everything should be included on the ticket price but wasn't. I hope next time will be with no bad surprises.
The staff on Air NZ flights are always friendly and respectful. The food leaves a little to be desired sometimes, especially the eggs in the morning, but there's plenty of it, and you can go into the galley over the long night hours and help yourself or be helped to snacks and drinks. I choose Air NZ over other airlines...More
I always travel with Air New Zealand whenever I can. They've won "best airline in the world" several times and it's clear to see why. The food is delicious, a full beverage selection remains available throughout the flight and the in-flight service is top quality. Premium economy seating is spacious and comfortable. I have also had the experience of business...More
Very long flight, because is a New Zealand airline, had to go to Auckland first before going to Sydney, so it turns out to be a 19 plus hour flight. Not the most comfortable seats, (it is a Boeing made airplane), when you recline the seat swings forward but does not lift your hips or thighs, so it gives you...More
The A320 is a horrible plane and when you get airlines such as Air New Zealand jamming as much seating in as possible, then you will always get a Big Fail. The most stupid thing we experienced on these planes, which may be peculiar to ANZ, is the seating configuration. They have the upper flight classes down one side of the...More
