Major problem for business travelers. Alitalia are now weighing all hand baggage. For business travelers who often only have carry on this is a real problem. It makes travel unpredictable and more stressful. Alitalia is out of line with even Easyjet who have very liberal hand luggage weight allowances. They is no justification for this unhelpful decision. I would avoid...

The flight was fairly cheap. Not bad travel, in the average. Flight on time, personnel fairly kind. Nothing to point out.

I know I flew in economy and I payed a reasonable amount compared to first class so I'm not asking for caviar and champagne on board, but thing got worse compared to a couple of years ago (same flight, same company). The food is really horrible and I eat almost anything. It's less than it used to be and you...

I booked on Delta but got KLM going east and Alitalia going west. KLM was better---somewhat better food, slightly more comfortable-seeming seat even if the airplane was made by the same company. Alitalia's food was poor though edible although I declined the pizzalike snack late in the trip because the smell was overwhelming the airplane and it was going to...

The only good news is that we arrived alive. The seats were child-sized, and you were literally trapped when the guy in front of you pushed his seat back to recline. It was torture. I cannot imagine what heavy people go through. On our return flight, we upgraded to premium economy. HAH! It was bulkhead seats, with an ill infant...

Connected with this airline in New York FROM Toronto to fly to Rome and then transfer to continue on to Tel Aviv. The flight itself and the flight attendants were very good, but my husband and I had no idea what the food was that they served. Traveled through Europe a couple of times and never came across these dishes....

This was a rebooking flight because Air France could not operate through CDG airport in Paris. Alitalia always uses buses to transfer passengers to and from he aircraft also in Rome - very very inconvenient. It also means delays. The service crew onboard the aircraft were minimally polite. It appeared the could not decide to be polite and courteous to...

After getting rude customer service at the FCO airport by Alitalia workers, the airline made me pay a hefty 130 euro fee for something I had CALLED AND ASKED ABOUT PREVIOUSLY, in which the representative assured me would be fine to do. I had a connecting flight from CTA to FCO and then to MAD, and when I was told...

Older plane with very tight seat area. Leg room getting in and out cumbersome. Leather seats not very cozy for nap. Food was excellent. Service was attentive.
