This was on an Airbus and we actually had the capabilities of reclining to sleep. The flight was great, however, AA had just recently had a dispute with their LAX food supplier and fired them. The sandwiches were bad, but the plane made up for it. We each got a voucher for $100 on our next flight.

Yesterday I called American to ask about international mileage travel. After waiting for 20 minutes, I opted to have them call me back in 20 - 30 minutes. I verified that this was about international travel and hung up the phone. 30 minutes later, I received a call back, but the gentlemen was from domestic. He transferred me to international,...

I booked my specific flights for the departure time, number of stops, layover time, and total travel time. I paid the higher flight costs to get what I wanted. Over a two month period, the flight times changed 2 times. The last and final change had me departing at 12:30 am instead of the original departing time of 10:30 pm....

This flight had a fast boarding process, Good sized overhead bins, and decent amount of legroom . There was some turbulence after takeoff and much turbulence during flight. There was no personal screen nor charger available , but Wifi during flight was unexpectedly fast.

On my 2014 flight from Tampa to Vietnam AA left us sitting on the tarmac in Tampa for three hours because a mechanic had forgotten to initial an important check mark. We therefore missed out connection to Japan where we could have changed planes for Saigon. Instead of arriving near midnight the next day, we arrived in the afternoon of...

Flown many times with them. I'd give them a 'B' for the physical flights. For customer service when purchasing a ticket, they ripped me off. My father died. My wife and I needed to get home to his funeral. When I was growing up I was told by my Aunt(who worked for Northwest Orient Ailines), to call the airlines and...

Standard uneventful flight but I had been gone for 3 weeks so I had a bag with souvenirs and my carry on and my small purse. They would not let me on the flight until I put the purse in the bag with the souvenirs. "You can only have 2 items in your hands, otherwise you have to check something"....

We were all set to fly into the keys two weeks after the hurricane. The airport had opened the day before our flight and our tickets were non refundable so normally we would be stuck. American was kind enough to waive the transfer fee and added notes to the ticket number which gave me a year to use a credit...
