Stand in line forever, just to be told you're standing in the wrong line. Where was that guy at the start of the line? Apparently his job is to stand at all the end of the line and tell you that the person at that computer can only check you into the one flight. Will never fly with this awful...

Flew China Airlines in Business Class from New York to Saigon via Taipei. The Business Class cabin was one of the nicest I have ever been in. Food was really good and the service was excellent. Would definitely fly this airline again

Dated A330 with matching old fashioned approach to service. Ordered a cocktail that was delivered after the wine and food arrived. Staff seemed more focused on getting the service over and done with than providing service. Food was a choice of three main courses, no starter and desert was a small tub of ice cream. Staff disappeared after the trays...

They lost my luggage. They refused to own up to their mistake and charged me to have it delivered to me after getting it from Shanghai to Seoul (which they were supposed to do in the first place without compelling me to pay to get my own bags from the airport). I'd already spent the night at the Seoul airport...

Flew from San Francisco to Bangkok via Taipei. The plane was a newer Boeing 777 and the decor inside was fabulous. The seats were very comfortable and the entertainment options plenty. The service was excellent. The food was average to good, however my wife had the Hindu vegetarian option and that was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to fly with China Airlines...

I recently flew from New York (JFK) to Taipei (TPE) on China Airlines (CI) in Premium Economy Class. Premium Economy (PE) is not available on every flight so when you book PE Trans-Pacific your connecting flight onward is booked in Business Class. In summary: o There was a dedicated Check-In Counter for Premium Economy and you have Business Class check...

At Taipei check in I was asked if I had an onward flight, which I did. He found it and checked my bag through to final destination and gave me a boarding pass. Since they are not affiliated with Qantas I was not expecting this. So much easier for me, appreciated. The flight, service, comfort and food were all good.

I usually fly on PAL Biz Class (medical reasons) when going back and forth to the Philippines, but due to PALs fare increases I decided to try something new and different in crossing the Pacific this time. At first I was apprehensive in flying Premium Economy as I need a larger seat that lays flatter than the regular economy seat...
