At the last moment easyJet cancelled our flight with zero information and have taken two weeks to say it was an air traffic control problem. No information at Geneva airport. Passengers treated with utter contempt. This is the second time EasyJet have messed me about. I will never use this dreadful organisation again.

This is this the worst airline I've ever had the misfortune of (not) travelling with, and I've travelled a lot. Easyjet cancelled our flight as they didn't have the staff to crew a plane (ever heard of rosters???!!). We were all ready to board when they cancelled. They then did nothing whatsoever to help us. The call centre was useless and wouldn't book us on another flight, wouldn't put us up in a hotel to catch another flight the next day - in short, they did all they could do to not offer us any help whatsoever. We ended up having to pay a huge taxi fare to get to a different airport, then pay for a hotel room, after buying new flights with a different airline to get to London, then paying to catch a train to Manchester. We're out thousands and thousands of dollars. Thanks Easyjet.

We had a disastrous start to our holiday when lack of communication from easyjet staff - who were rude and non-communicative during power outages at Manchester airport on Sunday 23rd June 2024. The staff did not explain any reasons for us standing in wait in queues of hundreds, with no knowledge of why we were waiting for over 5 hours, only to learn that our flight had been cancelled. We had booked a hotel night ready to make our early morning flight, and lost out on the money for this along with our parking as easy jet did not plan effectively for the fallout of this 'exceptional circumstance' (which arguably isn't one due to manchester airport experiencing multiple power cuts - with one 3 months prior). Easy jet's re-booking onto another flight system was insufficient, with the only next available flight available the Wednesday after of 26th June 2024. We were shaking worried about how to work with such a terrible app based system which meant that flights were consistently getting booked with no availability due to the fallout of the powercut - which easy jet also do not define as an exceptional circumstance in their policy. When contacted, easy jet are trying to pass this off as such to avoid compensation for their faults of a lack of communication and inappropriate mishandling of an event that could have been handled much better. Communication is key, and there was none. With an app based system that actively seeks to disallow people from seeking new acceptable flights and compensation.

I recently had an incredibly distressing experience with EasyJet that I feel compelled to share to warn fellow travelers. My flight was delayed by about an hour, which was frustrating but manageable. However, the real issues began during the boarding process. The EasyJet staff singled out several passengers, including myself, to check the size of our hand luggage. Despite our efforts to comply by adjusting the contents, the staff were rude and uncooperative. They demanded a hefty fee for oversized luggage, and when we attempted to resolve the issue on the spot, they delayed us further until all other passengers had boarded. The staff's behavior was aggressive and unprofessional. They shouted at us and refused to let us board even after we agreed to pay the fee, claiming it was too late. We were threatened with police action if we did not leave the boarding area immediately. As a result, we missed our flight and were left stranded at the airport late at night. We had to incur additional expenses for an alternative flight and overnight accommodation, not to mention the significant mental and emotional stress caused by the ordeal. This experience has left us deeply dissatisfied with EasyJet's service. The airline's handling of the situation was unacceptable, and their staff's behavior was appalling. I strongly advise against flying with EasyJet if you value professional and respectful treatment. Pros: None. Cons: Delays without proper communication. Rude and unprofessional staff. Unreasonable demands and additional charges. Threats of police involvement without cause. Additional costs and significant stress due to missed flights. I hope this review helps others avoid the same negative experience.

Me and a friend booked a package holiday with easy jet. On our way back from the holiday, our transfer did not show up!! We called easy jet and informed them and the woman on the phone informed us she is not able to do anything as the transfer is booked through a third party and “they were not picking up”. At this point, we had to get a taxi to the airport which was basically an hour away. Our transfer was supposed to be there at 6pm and we only managed to get a taxi at almost 7pm when our gate was closing at 8:50pm and we also had bags to check in. We had to pay over £80 ourselves!! Since coming back, we have emailed EasyJet several times to request a refund and only today did we receive an email back. Absolutely awful customer service!!
