Headquartered in Chenghu, Sichuan Airlines (3U) was founded in 1986 and began flying in 1988. The airline is owned, in part, by China Southern Airlines (CZ), Shandong Airlines (SC) and Shanghai Airlines (FM). Sichuan Airlines operates from hubs at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU), Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport (CKG) and Kunming Changshui International Airport (KMG). The carrier flies to more than 65 destinations across China and the rest of Asia, as well as Europe, North America and Oceania. Sichuan Airlines' fleet of 104 aircraft includes Airbus A319s, Airbus A320s, Airbus A321s, Airbus A330-200s and Airbus A330-300 with two-cabin (Economy Class and Business Class) configurations.
