The Southeast Asian carriers, as a group, seem to provide better service and are more accommodating and friendly than American carriers. My flight from Singapore to Siem Reap was a straightforward experience and everything, from check-in, boarding, and de-planing went smoothly. Seat comfort was good even with the tight seat pitch. The food was satisfactory and the service was exceptional.

This was one of the best flights we have done. The crew were really friendly and helpful and the food served was very good. Overall it was a really nice experience and added to the holiday feeling.

Flown with their new B737-800. Nicely designed cabin, but no on-seat IFE, Must use your own device to connect to their entertainment system. Service was good. Food was average. Overall experience was good.

Pleasant experience of travel on SilkAir, convenient check in by friendly staff, almost on time boarding, pleasing inflight service and smiling crew. All in all a memorable flight. Would recommend without hesitation.

Silkair are great they have very nice staff and comfortable seats. Although the seats were comfortable my dads legs were toching the seat in front and he had no room. They had delicious food and had blankets and pillows. One disappointing aspect was when we got of the flight we found that all of our suitcases were badly damaged. But...

Online booking experience good . Subsequent enquiries and assistance very good .The check in and boarding experience very good . The seats are a bit of a problem - a bit squeezed in feeling and leg space gives a cramped feeling . Post arrival baggage damage was repaIred promptly .

Good value for money. Do book the exit rows well worth the extra few dollars. I have flown with Singapore airlines a few times and have found staff to be very friendly, professional and can converse in English.

A flight at 0145 hours is not what everyone is going to enjoy but this could have been much better. Staff did the minimum required, found it hard to put any enthusiasm into tasks and did not appear to know what was happening. The in-flight meal was disgusting, hardly recognisable, not properly cooked and lacked any flavour. I guess it...
