As we were flying Singapore Airlines to Europe it was easier for us to use Silk Air rather than other airlines as we would remain in Transit rather than to enter Singapore. The flight left on time and it was an uneventful flight to Singapore. While it is dearer than Jetstar on this run, you are given meals and the...

Flight departed and arrived on time which was brilliant. No champagne served for welcome drinks. The tablet is quite old and entertainment system did not work properly so I gave up after few attempts. I flew with Silk Air in economy few times and I thought they had such an excellent inflight product but Business Class is a different story....

Good leg room. Good food. Good service, friendly staff but not so efficient. Checking in time was too long. Quite chaotic during boarding.

Travelling with kids could not be more challenging especially if you have two boys with you, my eldest is 5 yrs old during that time and my youngest is 7 months and he is quite a handful, We did travel with my eldest when he was only 6 months and everything was smooth. But my youngest is quite difficult and...

Traveled on this airline thrice over the last couple of months. The flight was on time in all the cases. The veggie food & beverage served on-board was hot and yummy. They had an in-flight entertainment system with decent choices over a variety of languages. Price was a little expensive compared to other carriers from Singapore. Overall, a nice experience!

When you arrive at Singapore Changi with Singapore Airlines it is customary that you will booked through to your final destination in South East Asia on Silk Air, a full subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, which flies the regional routes in South East Asia. Recently, the airline has entered a process to replace their Airbus airplanes by brand new Boeing 737's....

On board this A319 it seemed there was more legroom than on European short haul planes. Before take off we were handed a large refreshing towel. And during the 90 minute flight they served a hot lunch. Not haute cuisine admittedly but better than overpriced sandwiches and drinks sold on British airlines ( except BA). They even had free wifi...

Outward flight from London to Manila was on Singapore airways, but my return flight from Cebu had the first leg from Cebu to Singapore via Davao on Silk Air. Silk Air is the regional division of Singapore airways and use A320 aircraft. Onboard it is a basic budget airline service, with just a drink and biscuit. Seating is comfortable and good...
