HOLY MOLY - what a mess. I have Gold Status on both Virgin and Alaska, and that STILL did not help me. On both my flight to the east coast, and my flight back, neither Virgin American nor Alaska Airlines would acknowledge that the flight was theirs. So, I got sent to the Alaska Airlines terminal, when it was a...

Flight from SF-DEN cancelled. Agent lied saying she could not rebook on Alaska or any other airline. I booked last minute on United paid 350- for one way at last minute. Second agent would not give full refund only credit for future flights. Flight from DEN-SF cancelled 3 days later. This time agent gave full refund with no issues. We...

I used to only fly on United. Since their merger with Continental, their service has fallen into the lousy category. Enter Virgin America to Boston!! Having flown on Virgin Atlantic to England several years ago, I decided to try Virgin America. What a pleasant experience!!! No problems, great service, friendly and helpful attendants, and very smooth landings! From now on,...

Best airline in the USA. I had a fantastic, comfortable trip from Virginia to LA. Seats are very spacious, and the way they light the cabinet made me feel more relax, and I slept most of my trip. The service was excellent, and I do recommend it to anyone who wants to travel in the USA

7:45AM flight with free booze but no coffee. Also spent an hour on the tarmac prior to takeoff; by the time I arrived in Los Angeles it was apparent I could have driven quicker than flying.

I was looking forward to flying Virgin....I usually use other airlines.  I was looking forward to the non-stop service and up to date amenities like video screens, in-flight movies, etc.  I was extremely disappointed that the audio on the video made viewing virtually impossible!  The audio was so low, and it couldn't be turned up.  The flight attendants admitted that...

We booked 2 return tickets from Sydney to Fort Lauderdale via LA, flying Qantas to LA, & Virgin America to Fort Lauderdale. Our return was on Virgin America to LA, and American Airlines to Sydney. The outward journey was uneventful. On checking in with Virgin America at Fort Lauderdale for our flight to LA we were informed that we had...

My wife and I decided to go to Las Vegas for a few days, so we booked round trip tickets. Both flights were really good. The flight itself is only about 45 minutes airtime. The flight was probably only half full in both directions, So, we had an empty seat between us to stretch out in. The flight crew was...

We flew coach on a five-hour flight from San Francisco to Newark. This was our first time flying Virgin America. The good: The TVs were nice. I was able to keep myself entertained. I ended up watching TNT for free, though some had fees. Bring your headphones. There were family friendly shows, kid shows, music, games and an interactive flight...
