Very frustrating service: it was not possible to check in online, so I got to the airport early with only hand baggage to have a relaxed departure. I arrived with one group of 3 people ahead of me in the business class check in queue. I was kept waiting for over 45 minutes while they organised an upgrade. I had to literally run through the airport in order not to miss my flight. I was told by the business class check in desk who had kept me waiting that I could skip through departure processes - this was obviously impossible and had I not been able to go through diplomatic queue I would have definitely missed my flight. This is not what you pay for with a business class ticket - upgrades should be done at a separate counter, not at business class check in. Or you should at least be able to check in online.

Great company, way much better than Air France which is really poor or Quatar and Etihad which are really poor companies. On time, boarding are well organized, no issue with the luggage, no troubles regarding your hand bag… price are decent…cabin are nice, nice and professional staff. I really thought it was not possible to find a good plane company anymore

There was this guy as flight attendants and the girl name is Muskan, I couldn't find the guy name because he was hiding his name plate and we had a short flight. We boarded the 12:30 pm flight from srinagar to jammu on 9th April. Our ticket says meal included so when the guy was handing over cookies I ask him is this the only thing and mockingly he said its just 30 mins flight and when I asked for water he just gave me one small bottle for 3 people and moved ahead,I rang the bell for more water but no one came and when he was going back I asked him u don't have water then in attitude he said of course I have water but it's only given when in need, what dumb head arrogant guy he was. Tata as a group in failing in service be it air india and first time I travelled with vistara and service is equally pathetic.

Flew flight UK107, Bombay to Singapore. At the airport was informed I'd been downgraded from P. Economy to Economy since aircraft was overbooked. In this day and age of computers, I was surprised to learn that Vistara staff still use fingers and toes to count available seats!! Anyway, no apology was given at any stage!! Was also told that I'd be seated in an exit row but must be available to assist cabin crew in case of an emergency. Of course, that meant no relaxing during the flight! Although, given the deplorable standard of the meal served on board, I was unable to really relax anyway, waiting and wondering if I'd need to go to the toilet before the flight landed! To make matters worse, although the check in person said I would be provided compensation for their stuff up, Vistara's so-called customer service dept didn't want to discuss matters, saying only that I should enter details on the Vistara website to claim compensation. And of course, given Vistara's inability to use computers, I wasn't surprised to learn that their website's form also does not work, so my only option now is to contact my credit card company and try to claim that way. Next time, I'll stick to flying with Singapore Airlines instead of this third-class airline. I suppose it will be easy for them to merge with Air India since the service standards etc will remain the same, they just have to change the name on the aircraft!
