The fifth-busiest of Germany's airports, Hamburg Airport (HAM) served about 14.8 million passengers in 2014. Also known as Flughafen Hamburg, the airport is located about five miles north of the city center of the Fuhlsbüttel neighborhood. More than 55 carriers serve the airport, including Germanwings and Eurowings, which have designated HAM as a hub, and Air Berlin, Condor, EasyJet, Germania and TUIfly, which have named the airport a focus city.
