The primary airport serving southeast Queensland, Brisbane Airport (BNE) handled about 22.1 million passengers in 2013-14, making it Australia's third-busiest airport. More than 25 commercial carriers operate at the airport, including Alliance Airlines, Jetstar Airways, Qantas, Tigerair Australia and Virgin Australia, which have all designated the airport as a hub. Passengers can fly non-stop between Brisbane Airport and destinations across Oceania, as well as points in Asia, the Middle East and North America. The airport has two runways and two passenger terminals. Ground transportation options include rental cars, taxis, and local and regional buses and trains.
