Handling about 71.7 million passengers in 2014, Dubai International Airport (DXB) was the world's sixth-busiest airport in 2014. Located about three miles east of Dubai, the airport is a hub for Emirates, Flydubai, and Qantas. In total, about 140 airlines fly to more than 270 destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Oceania, North America and South America. The airport has two runways and three passenger terminals.
