The second-busiest airport in Texas and the ninth-busiest in the world, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) handled more than 63.5 million passengers in 2014. It serves as a hub for American Airlines, which is headquartered nearby, and as a focus city for Spirit Airlines and Sun Country Airlines. In total, more than 25 carriers fly between DFW and more than 200 destinations in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Central America, the Caribbean, South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. DFW Airport has seven runways and five passenger terminals with a total of 165 gates. Passenger services and amenities include an onsite hotel, art exhibits, restaurants, retail shopping, ATMs, children's play areas, electronics charging stations, free WIFI internet, shoeshine stands, spas, showers and a USO Center.
