Located six miles east of downtown, El Paso International Airport (ELP) serves west Texas, southern New Mexico and northern Mexico. American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines and United Express all operate flights between ELP and more than a dozen cities across the United States. The airport has three runways and one terminal building with 15 gates spread across two concourses: Concourse A and Concourse B. About 2.8 million passengers used the airport in 2014. There are electric car charging stations in the short-term parking lot, and military veterans with certain license plates are entitled to free airport parking. Ground transportation at ELP includes taxis, shared-ride shuttles, Sun Metro public buses and rental cars.
