Just finished my AIDA 4 Master Freediver and Assistant lnstructor course here at Freedive Academy Panglao Island. It was an intensive coaching with two sessions per day. Very well handled and prepared by Master instructor Rea Spoerri. Rea who are the most inspiring freedive teacher l ever had until now, is so cool and relaxed, motivating and always there to share you up when things seem to be impossible. Rea speaks German, English and several other languages fluent so no language barriers. This was my third time participating in a diving-related renewal course, as Dive Pros are required to renew their certification every two years. However, this particular course surpassed all my previous experiences. I was thoroughly impressed by the teaching methodologies employed, the instructor's profound knowledge, the hands-on practical sessions (which included my first opportunity to handle an oxygen tank in a practice setting), and the positive group dynamics. In a way, I am grateful that my course expired, necessitating this refresher training. Here, I wasn't just a student, but also a member of a big family of people who share a love for diving. Not only did I meet highly skilled instructors, but I also found like-minded friends. We learned, explored, shared joys and challenges, supported and encouraged each other, and together pursued our diving dreams, creating countless precious memories. Freedive Academy Panglao maintains excellent professional standards and strict safety measures. The courses are comprehensive, detailed, and scientifically structured, covering all aspects of diving knowledge and skills. The instructors possess extensive experience and professional backgrounds, teaching theory and techniques in a progressive manner from analyzing principles to pool and open water training. This allowed me, even as a non-swimmer, to fall in love with the sea and freediving. Even I didn't pass an assessment on the first try, I could continue with affordable open water training. I learned free diving in this centre ,people there is helpful and friendly ,especially the photographer Ben and centre supervisor Emily help me a lot in this trip ,no matter I go island hopping ,having good food or diving with whale shark,they gave me a lot of information ,they are expert and really know how to plan the trip ,I had a great time in this island and wanna go back again every year 這間中心非常近Napaling reef ,位置很好，如果有需要還可以租用中心電單車，他們亦都提供住宿，行程安排，中心負責人Emily 提供很多資料，包括飲食，跳島，追鯨鯊，幫你找攝影師，樣樣都安排得很好，令我有一個很難忘的旅程

It was a very good experience doing free diving. This is the first time for me to try the long fin in open water and dive. Johnathan, my instructor, is very well explained on the theory and looks after our safety.

I passed my freediving levels at Freedive Academy Panglao. The academy is really great, with all the equipment and conditions to train in the best conditions. Moreover, the instructors are really diligent and available at all times to help us progress. As well as the whole team who run the academy on a day-to-day basis, who are brilliant.

Very friendly, professional and familiar atmosphere. You can learn a lot about free-diving and also have some fun or a chat in around the pool. I especially enjoyed my wonderful and competent instructor Rea and the support I got from all the staff when needed. Thank you! Will be back <3

The guide was skilled and patience. He took care of me the whole time, so that I could relax and enjoy the moment I had. Also, he is skilled at taking photos.

Best way to start or continue freediving education! Profesional instructors and friendly atmosphere. Academy is really close to the diving point.

To sum up: professional, nice people and very well equipped. I did a mermaid course there, which was my dream for the longest time. They had many colorful amazing tails, and a very professional, lovely underwater photographer. COULDN’T BE MORE SATISFIED 😌😊 I did the Modeling mermaid course there. The perfect course if you, like me, want to try mermaiding and want a one day fun course. You’ll have 2-3 hours in the morning in a swimming pool to learn how to swim with a monofin and mermaid tail, and also how to hold your breath. A photographer comes in the morning to take some pics and videos in the pool. Then you continue with the photographer in the ocean in the afternoon to take the most amazing photos in the wonderful Napaling reef. In the end of the day, you get all the pics and videos they took, and after couple days you’ll receive 10 amazingly edited pics (check their Instagram to see some amazing ones). The instructor Emily is so nice and lovely. The photographer is so professional, kind and fun. You feel like a real model 😂. The staff there is so nice and the diving center itself is very well equipped and feels like a family. They have many payment methods which was very convenient for me 😌 TOTALLY RECOMMENDED 😍 and I’ll definitely continue with them next time I’ll be in the Philippines ❤️🧜‍♂️🐚

Very nice experience！ The guide Ben is so professional and patient and the beautiful proprietress is so kind！ We saw the beautiful sardine storm and beautiful reef. All things are wonderful and unique！ 100% recommend！
