What to Expect
  • Departing from Nagatacho we will first spend a few minutes learning how to use the electric bikes.

  • We will then start our journey with the imperial palace. Our guide is an amateur photographer and will do his best to take wonderful pictures of all and everyone of you while explaining the history of the Edo castle.

  • Following the imperial roadway to Tokyo station, lets learn together about the peculiar mix of modern and traditional architecture mix on this iconic building.

  • Then on our way to Tsukiji fish market we will enjoy little shrines and local places invisible amongst the luxury of Ginza to those who only use trains to travel. In and around the fish market you will discover a lot of fish products and delicious fresh food.

  • We will the be heading toward Tsukishima and a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.

  • Head toward a temple of the Heart Sutra School of Buddhism. In this temple you will have the rare chance to see a full fire ritual with heart sutra chanting, and Taiko percussion. It is a very solennel moment, please be respectful.

  • We will wander the little streets and grab a little delicacies here and there. Explore the city and get a feel of the lesser known Tokyo.

  • This tour will be approximately 20 km and 5 hours long.
  • Some activities will be added and some might be cancelled depending on availability and the season.
  • We are open to requests and will adapt the tour to match your desires if possible
