What to Expect
Meet a driver at your hotel in Taipei and set out for the 18th-century Longshan Temple and then tour the Presidential Office Building and Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.
Get a glimpse of old Taiwan at Lin An Tai Historical House and the Grand Hotel, and drive out of the city to the Beitou Thermal Valley, follow the guide in exploring the area, which includes Beitou Hot Spring Museum, once a Japanese public bathhouse (own expense).
At the National Palace Museum, see some of the collection’s highlights on a guided tour that features Tang and Ming dynasty artifacts.
