          Visit to the fish market and tuna suction
          We had a great time visiting the Tuna auction in Tokyo wit our guide Andy. He eas very knowledgeable about the whole process and spoke a perfect English. The whole family enjoyed it and he brought us afterwards eating sushi in a small restaurant close rto the auction. It was excellent. We then went through the different alleys and he explained us the different type of fish and which ones were the most consumed in Japan. It was a very interesting and enjoyable morning which i recommend for families

          A Magical Experience - Say YES and explore Nikko!
          Karen-san, our tour guide, truly made our Nikko day tour the highlight of our 10 day trip to Japan. Her advice and explanations about the history of the various locations (sightseeing, cultural and historic) delivered an insight into the magic of Nikko. Karen-san was incredibly flexible and responsive to our travel and planning requests, including creating a schedule unique to our interests and including a large range of sights to visit, including small detours to lesser known sites, details about train platforms and timetables, weather, dinner recommendations and more. Temples, lakes, shrines, bridges and rivers, and the dusting of snow - A magical experience!

          Amazing experience!
          Today, my friend and I did a tour around Hiroshima with a tour guide, Yuji. It was great to have him with us as he provided a wealth of knowledge and history that we wouldn’t otherwise been able to get on our own. I would highly recommend Yuji for anyone wishing to visit Miyajima Island and the Peace Memorial Park.

          Clean, comfortable- the best way to go to Shirakawago!
          We’re pickup promptly as soon as our train arrive. Our Driver, Mr Takayama Hato held a sign by the gate and greeted us. The car was parked at the curb side and no need waiting. The car was clean and very comfortable. Mr. Hato is a good driver. At the destination, he even offered to walk us to the shuttle station so we wouldn’t get lost. Very happy with the service!

          An incredibly moving and inspirational experience!
          Our guide, Yuko, went above and beyond. She customized the tour based on our interests, and set the pace of the tour perfectly. We learned so much from her - she was so knowledgeable and loved answering our endless questions. We could not imagine experiencing Hiroshima any other way!

          Taku Tanimoto is a fabulous guide for your Nara tour!
          We booked this tour through Viator. We were going to be in Osaka overnight and wanted the chance to go see Nara Taku was very helpful from the very beginning from the time we booked he stayed in email contact very regularly was genuinely interested in what we wanted to see, put together an itinerary that worked for us for the day, and was very accommodating and friendly. He graciously met us at the cruise ship terminal in Osaka and helped us navigate Osaka‘s mass transit system to male our way out to Nara. As an added bonus, Taku lives in Nara! He shows you the sites and gives you the history from a locals perspective. As far as tour guides go for our Nara experience, we won the tour guide lottery!

          Great Back Street View of Tokyo
          Kahori was our guide and took us to many back street areas of Tokyo that are not tourist packed. We experienced a great puppet show at this little theatre shop down a side street. The neighborhood strolls were very different than downtown Tokyo. A great way to get away from the large crowds and definitely fun experiencing the Metro.

          4 hours with our private guide Maya in Kyoto
          Our guide Maya was so lovely and really showed us some absolute gems. We felt very spoilt and was so great for her local knowledge of Kyoto. We made some lifetime memories today and will never forget our tour. Would highly recommend it.

          Excellent tour with Kazuo
          Had an excellent experience with Kazuo! We communicated via WhatsApp before the tour to arrange the pick up/drop off spot (our hotel) and the stops on the tour. We got to quickly and efficiently see everything we wanted. The tour started at 7am before all of the crowds which was great. Kazuo expertly navigated us across the city via bus/taxi/train. He communicated well and provided great commentary and history about all the tour spots, always offering to take our picture. We will absolutely recommend to all friends and family who visit Kyoto. Thank you, Kazuo!

          Wonderful rainy morning with Taku!
          We are a family of four from Sydney and recently visited Kyoto as part of our first trip to Japan. We only had time for a whirlwind tour and we couldn't have asked for a better guide than Taku. His knowledge of the history and cultural significance of all the sites we visited was incredible and he shared this with us in such a great way that our 5 year old twins could easily understand. Taku was so considerate of our kids and what they could manage with all the walking and hills and was so patient with the endless questions, particularly from our son! He made sure we got wonderful family photos to commemorate our experience and made us want to visit again...for much longer next time! Thanks so much again, Taku! That rainy morning was such a highlight of our trip!

        Yoshi provided us with a most comprehensive and informative tour. He mapped out our time brilliantly which allowed us to visit multiple significant sights in a timely manner. Aside from his extensive knowledge of the history of Japan he provided us with fascinating information regarding the culture of Japan past and present. This tour provides the opportunity to access public transportation but thankfully with a guide to navigate the labyrinth of the transportation system! The most appreciated feature of this tour was that Yoshi went to great effort to tailor this tour to our interests and needs. Thank you for a fabulous introduction to Tokyo!!!

        It is much more pleasant to take a private tour to the places you're interested in, rather than a group tour or finding your own way. Our guide Taka, was very knowledgeable about the areas and made sure we were always comfortable and safe. He paid attention to the things that interested us and made sure to include them in our next stop. Highly recommend the tour and our guide, Taka!

        Our Tour was with Sam in Tokyo for the 6 hour tour. Sam was a very kind man. When he saw that he was leading 2 senior ladies, he slowed down his pace to meet ours. It was a very busy day, going to a temple, a market, the Imperial Palace gardens on many many trains and subways. We finished by going to Shibuya Crossing and having a very wonderful lunch. He brought us back to our hotel, even though it was not requested, but we thought he didn't want us to get lost on our way back. His English was a bit hard to understand, but he was very patient and kind and repeated himself until we understood what he was saying. It was a fun but tiring day. Thank you, SAM.

        Thank you for writing a great review! I am happy if you two enjoyed the tour in spite of being so tired after getting on and off many many subways. Especially, I let you use the stairs several times during the tour. I should have found more elevators or escalators at each station. As you mentioned, the lunch we had was wonderful, wasn’t it? I am sure you were satisfied with the amazing scenery from the windows in Shibuya, too. I remember that you were dancing to the cool music. If possible, I would like you to come to Tokyo again. Although it is too humid in summer, you could see beautiful flowers in every season. I wish you all the best. Sam

        We spent 6 hours with Chas-san and had a wonderful time.

        Conversation with Chas flowed very easy and his calm character resulted in a very low stress day for a busy environment.

        Chas knowledge of the transport system saved us hours, and his expertise with local sights:
        * Asakusa Sensoji temple
        * Tsukiji Fish outer market
        * Meiji Shrine
        * Harajuku Takeshita Street
        was excellent. With very good English, he guided a lovely day for us.

        We even had time to squeeze in the walk across Shibuya crossings before dark.

        I highly recommend a private tour. Make sure you ask for Chas-san.

        Thank you for your kind review, which I felt very honored. I hope you experienced Japan’s many charms and got to like our country better after the tour. You were ideal guests who are intelligent and curious about Japan and its culture. Also, seeing how you two looked happy with each other made me feel happy too. I really enjoyed walking around and talking with you. Please come to Japan again, and let me guide you through Tokyo cities once again. Looking forward to seeing you again soon in Tokyo. Chas

        We had a great trip to Kamakura with Taka-San! He was super accommodating to changes in our schedule. We didn't know that many places only accepted cash. Taka helped at all such places by paying from his side (of course, we paid him back at the end of the trip). Super kind person to talk to and energetic. Communication in English was not a problem at all. Have us historical nuggets of information from time to time.

        Taka was a brilliant guide. He walked our family (x2 children aged 9 and 7) around the city to see the sites which he prepared a list for prior.
        We stopped at a brilliant Ramen bar for lunch and helped us navigate the trains/metro with ease.
        I’d highly recommend Taka to anyone for your tour around the city.

        An introduction to Tokyo we will not forget! Our tour guide (Koba) picked us up from the hotel on our 1st day and headed straight for Tsukiji Fish Market where we walked the stalls and sampled some fresh sushimi and a delicious strawberry Japanese dessert. From here it was onto the Imperial Palace East Garden to learn of some local history and then onward to Asakusa 😍. Here we visited the Senso-ji Temple and walked the Nakamise st, stopping for ramen at a local restaurant. The tour finished off at the scramble crossing in Shibuya where we saw Hachiko statue. Koba then dropped us off at Shibuya Sky for our sunset booking.
