Go deep into Everglades National Park on a tour by motor boat, kayak, and walking trail to see some of the most remote places in the Everglades. After traveling to an isolated site by boat, paddle a kayak to a beautiful beach, and walk through coastal ecosystems including mangroves and dunes. Learn more about each plant and animal you encounter with your naturalist guide, well versed in Everglades ecology.
What to Expect
Start by leaving the crowds behind on a boat ride from Chokoloskee, Fla., into Everglades National Park where you disembark at a beautiful and remote location.
The guide helps with the basics of maneuvering a kayak before you launch into the water, paddling towards Barrier Island Beach. When you reach the shore, set out on a walking tour that takes in wrack lines, shallow tidal zones, dunes, and mangrove swamps.
Take advantage of your time with a naturalist guide to ask questions about local ecology and wildlife, watching for manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, eagles, and other shore birds throughout the day. Following the hike, paddle back to the motor boat for the return trip out of Everglades National Park.

This salt water eco kayak tour is a MUST DO with any Everglades visit. Starting out in a boat, we were able to see interesting birds and had fun seeing dolphins(some of whom surfed in our boat wake), then Don gave us an amazing beach...More

We had an exceptional experience touring the Everglades with Don, our guide at the helm. We were immediately greeted by a pod of dolphins, had amazing looks of constantly streaming American White Pelicans coming into roost at low tide, and over 20 species of local...More

The overall trip was nice. Customers should be made aware. In your companies policy (NOT PARK LAW) about the shelling experience. There is NO KEEPING OF SHELLS !! No one in my group knew this until we off loaded on the beach. Then the guide...More

We are glad that you enjoyed the experience. This is wonderful part of our planet. However, you are mistaken about the Park regulations. The National Park Service forbids removing ANYTHING from Everglades National Park, further they specifically forbid the taking of shells. The Park use...More
