Travel around the entire island of Aruba, taking in must-see highlights, on this comprehensive tour in the company of a guide. Great for first-time visitors or those with limited time, this tour visits highlights such as the Bushiribana gold mine ruins, a historic bar, an aloe vera factory, local rock formations, and a typical Aruban home. Hotel pickup and drop-off in Oranjestad makes for a seamless experience.
What to Expect
After pickup from your Oranjestad hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle, head to the California Lighthouse to learn about its history and snap photos of the views. Next, stop at the Ayo and Casibari rock formations, where you’ll learn about their geology, see ancient paintings made by the Arawak Indians, the island’s original inhabitants, and hike to the top of the largest boulder. At the Bushiribana gold mine ruins, look for flecks of gold left over from Aruba’s gold rush before moving on to an aloe vera factory, where you’ll take a tour and shop for souvenirs. Head on to visit a traditional Aruban home to see how islanders have lived for centuries, thens stop at the family-owned Charlie’s Bar, serving up drinks for the past 75 years.

Hi, we only did the half day tour so we did not stop for lunch, but several of the stops had little snack places. We had the main stops - ie aloe factory, lighthouse, rock formations, baby bridge etc but in addition our guide pointed things out on the way like some of the homes. He would stop to point things out and let us take pictures but we didn’t get off the bus. Hope this helps!
