We saw the ruins of Ponce De León home. The museum on that property was closed but he kept us busy and interested in Puerto Rico’s shipping industry and culture.
By the end of the day we felt like we had spent the day with an old family
Member. Thank you again Jerry for an amazing adventure.

Just back from an island tour with Jerry. He goes above and beyond showing you the island he is obviously very proud of. The whole day was informative and fun! I was left with such a great insight into the life of puerta ricans.the lunch we stopped for was amazing and by the end of our tour I felt I was leaving an old friend.

We had booked with another tour guide but he cancelled due to illness. Although it was late in the day, we were able to book 3 seats on his tour for the following morning. Based on the many great reviews, we felt comfortable making the reservation and we’re so glad we did! Jerry’s got a big personality, is fully bilingual, and expresses joy and gratitude throughout the journey. He has a set of sites and sights that he wants to show his guests, but is quite flexible based on their questions and interests. We finished the tour at a local restaurant that serves great local food. Jerry owns this small business and is passionate about Puerto Rico and about the customer experience. Book with him for a great experience!

Overall it was a decent tour but there is a bit of false advertising as the tour was really just up the mountain, see the view, and come down. Jerry is very personable but if you’re a group who would like a little more formality this isn’t it. He gets a little too close and also is not mindful of people’s comfort level when it comes to touching, and hugging. He would put his hands on my shoulders alot when pointing things out and did not read the room when clearly it bothered me as I pulled away. Yet he did it again at another location. Recognizing the cultural differences and respect would be appreciated. And he made a lot of generalizations of Indians when it’s a subcontinent of over 50 languages, religions, and communities. It’s a decent tour if you need something to do for a day but was quite shocked how much time we just spent talking on the side of the road vs actual things to see.

I've been on a lot of tours and know one I mean know was better than jerry. He makes you feel right at home and hes teaching you things along the way. My wife and I had an absolute great time. Definitely would recommend to any and all who want to get an authentic tour in Puerto Rico...

I booked this trip for my friend and I and when she felt ill the morning we were supposed to go, I thought shoot,this probably won't be fun alone, but I was so wrong.
Jerry was 5 minutes early at our pickup. I knew when he gave me a smile and a hug it was going to be a great day. I think he lived in the states till he was 9, so there is absolutely no language barrier if you speak English. We picked up another man and his mother from Columbia, so he conversed with her in Spanish just as much
We hit a lot of the historical sights in San Juan. He would stop for anything you wanted or spend only a few seconds at others. Totally up to us.
He was so informative about the country's politics, history, economics and so on.I hesitate to post this, as I don't know if he does this for everyone, but he actually stopped at his house and introduced us to his 80 yr old mother.
Lunch was delicious and the view of San Juan from the mountain top was stunning, but more than anything else, I feel I made a friend.
This was my second trip to this beautiful island and while the snorkeling trip, rain forest hike, Bacardi Tour or just browsing around Old San Juan are all fun, this was special, really special.

Jerry is a superb guide. His wealth of knowledge is outstanding. We learned so much about the island. I highly recommend all visitors to take this tour. The lunch he took us on was delicious. Authentic Puerto Rican food!Get out of the San Juan tourist area and see the real Puerto Rico.

Jerry was simply a great friend we hadn't met. He texted me the day prior and morning of the tour to update me on his arrival time. The Center of PR tour was interesting, very informative, tailored to our questions and made to fit our interests. From Old San Juan to the neighboring towns, to the mountain communities, and back... Jerry introduced us to an island it was obvious he loved (and had extensive knowledge). We learned of the rich history of the people from ancient times of war and invasions ... to present day life and love of their island. Jerry treated us like good friends he hadn't seen in a while, not customers on a tour for the day. Simply the best tour.

We travelled to Puerto Rico as part of a cruise package and with a day to spare, we found Kerry's website and chose our trip. As we landed late the previous night, Jerry suggested that he picked us up later, which we felt was an excellent idea.
We expected there would be several people on the tour but actually Jerry took myself and my husband on a personalised and extremely informative tour of the island centre. We were told about the history of the island and the complex political situation. Jerry told us about the devastation following the hurricane of 2017 and how his family and community had helped each other to recover. We sampled local food at a restaurant in the mountains. Jerry was outstanding as a tour guide and host and we would thoroughly recommend this trip to all who visit San Juan. Thanks Jerry xxx
