Overview
Ride a horse along desert trails, rolling mountain terrain, and white sand beaches on a 2.5-hour, small-group riding excursion from Cabo for intermediate and advanced riders. Both morning and afternoon departures are available for this riding tour of the Baja back country, which includes pickup at major hotels, and is limited to 10 people for individual service from the guide.
What to Expect
Meet a driver at your hotel in Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo, then travel to a trail riding base camp in the Baja desert (entrance fees to the trail riding area are not included). Start with a short safety briefing, then greet your horse for the day; this tour is a good fit for advanced and intermediate riders who feel confident on a horse, and have experience riding at all paces.

Follow the trail guide through a rugged mountain landscape until the path opens up on a pair of broad, flat beaches with breaking waves and cool sea breezes. You’ll have views down the Pacific coastline, and can speed along the edge of the ocean before looping back to the starting point.

Upon arrival at the trailhead, say goodbye to your horse, then meet the driver for the return trip to your hotel, where this tour concludes.

Great guide and picturesque views

Although we came ridiculously inappropriately dressed (shorts and flip flops-In spite of our knowing better as we are both very experienced riders), our guide didn’t laugh in our faces 😉. We rode through some unique and beautiful cactus formations. When we arrived at the beach,...More

A little too long

We opted for the beginner level horseback riding but probably should have done intermediate. My wife and I have ridden horses before and would have been able to handle more than we got. The horses walked the entire time with not a hint of a...More

Enjoyable morning ride on the beach

First let me say that this is a great experience and I realize that it is difficult to have a morning ride that doesn’t have a wide variety of experienced riders. Not that I was expecting full gallops in the ocean, but we did have...More

Awesome experience!

Our guide was excellent. We rode along the beach on the Pacific Ocean, eventually climbing to the top of a bluff overlooking the ocean. The horses loved stretching their legs on the beach, an experience I will never forget.
