Marietas Islands: Snorkel Cruise from Puerto Vallarta
From US$79.00
Overview
Spend the day immersed in the marine life of the Marietas Islands and the Bay of Banderas on this full-day cruise from Puerto Vallarta. Even those with no experience will feel comfortable participating in guided snorkeling and kayaking tours, with all equipment included, to catch a glimpse of the Mexican Pacific’s abundant flora and fauna. Travel light, as breakfast, lunch, and an open bar are included on the boat.
What to Expect
Meet your boat at Puerto Vallarta’s Maritime Terminal in the early morning. Travel light, since all recreational equipment, as well as breakfast, lunch, and beverages, are provided.

Set out for the Bay of Banderas and the Marietas Islands. En route, take in the scenery and eat breakfast while your crew handles logistics. Keep watch for Pacific bottlenose dolphins, spinner dolphins, and spotter dolphins. December through March, you may see humpback whales in the area, too. Learn about the local marine life’s biology and behavior, as well as Mexico’s conversation efforts, from your guide.

Take guided kayaking and snorkeling expeditions throughout the bay and islands. Instruction and equipment are provided, so even beginners will feel comfortable. Learn about other Mexican Pacific inhabitants, such as blue-footed boobies, red-billed tropic birds, manta rays, and tropical fish.

After enjoying lunch and an open bar, return to the Maritime Terminal in the mid-afternoon.

We had a beautiful sunny, hot day on the water. We were a small group of about 50 and the crew was fantastic! Part of our group went snorkeling, one went diving, one stayed on the boat and all of us were well taken care...More

Fun day on the water!

We really enjoyed our trip out to the Marietas Islands and the boat trip overall with Vallarta Adventures. We went April 17th and had relatively calm seas that day. You are greeted by a cheerful crew (thanks boat #1 team!) and can have coffee, juice...More

few fish seen...

Unfortunately, after having done this trip with El Gato and crew, I wish I had spent my time doing something else. I was really disappointed with the snorkeling... I felt rushed to get back to the boat and was left wanting to see so much...More

They have different boats. Our boat #1 had plenty of seats in the shaded area.
