Experience Mexico City: Cantinas, Lucha Libre and Mariachi in Garibaldi Square

Select Date and Travellers
2 travellers
Live la vida loca on a night out on the town in Mexico City! Enjoy a drink at a local cantina, sing and dance to mariachi music, then cheer on your favorite wrestlers at a Lucha Libre match. Meet the locals on your night out on the tiles, get around by public transportation with the assistance of your professional guide, and experience nighttime fun with a difference in Mexico City.
  • Make the most of Mexico City’s nightlife on this guided evening excursion
  • Experience a traditional cantina, a lucha libre match, and mariachi music
  • A great choice for solo travelers and first-time visitors
  • Wrestling tickets, public transportation, and a souvenir included in tour cost
What to Expect
Meet your guide and fellow revelers in the Centro Historico, not far from the Zocalo. Your first stop is dinner and drinks at a popular cantina, where you’ll eat a tasty meal while learning the details of your evening out. After dinner, hop on the subway with your guide and group and ride to the lucha libre arena. There, find your reserved seat and get a quick tutorial on the rules of the theatrical masked wrestling that is among Mexico’s most beloved sports. Then, cheer with the crowd as luchadores (wrestlers) leap into the ring. Then, head for Garibaldi Square, where you’ll sing and dance to roaming mariachi bands. As your tour winds down, return to the Zocalo area to top off the evening with drinks. Your guide can then help you hail a cab or give you pointers on where to continue the night out on your own.
