They Did Such a Great Job, I'm a Repeat Customer!
Oct 2021
Just take a look at the ratings this business has. Any company would envy feedback like that. And it's extremely well-deserved.

I took the Colonia Roma Food Tour after having taken the Historic Center Food Tour a few years ago (also excellent). Sabores México knows what they're doing, and you won't be disappointed. We had Regina as our guide, and she was amazing. Far from just leading us around to a parade of restaurants, she took the time to introduce us to the neighborhood, and gave a good amount of history to put things in perspective. She also gave very well-informed commentary about the food and drink we sampled. I hope to catch her on the Tacos and Mezcal tour in the future!

As for the food - it was terrific. This neighborhood is a more "hip" area of Mexico City, and the cuisine reflects this diversity. We tried everything from tacos to tamales to "Mexican caviar," and seemingly everything in between, and it was all delicious. There's even alcohol to go with. Sabores México takes the time to make sure they're picking the best restaurants in the area that have really unique offerings, and they succeed with flying colors. And - as with my prior tour - I did not leave this one hungry, that's for sure!

¡Muchas gracias Regina y Sabores México por una otra gran experiencia en el DF!

The best way to taste a city and a culture
Sep 2021
This was my first ever food tour, and it is such a great way to discover a city and culture as well as the cuisine. Our guide, Naomi was knowledgeable, friendly, and her English was excellent. The range of dishes and restaurants was excellent, and adding a microbrewery and coffee house, (with fabulous explanation of the different coffees) was a really great idea alongside the wonderful food itself. This part of Mexico City is beautiful, vibrant and historical. I cannot recommend this highly enough. It was such a great thing to do.

Rodrigo was an excellent guide. Rodrigo is very knowledgable and elected a very interesting selection of restaurants which demonstrate the wide variety of food and drink available in in the area. As you walk between restaurants, he provides you excellent insight into the interesting historical aspects of the area. He is entirely bilingual, speaking English and Spanish perfectly. It was a fantastic experience.

We took the Colonial Roma food tour with Grace who was easily the best tour host I’ve ever had. We had an amazing time learning about the rich history of the neighborhood while enjoying delicious local food and drinks! I would highly recommend Sabores if you are looking to get a warm welcome with great food, especially if it’s with Grace!

There was so much food on the tour. We visited 6 places and with each place the food became more exquisite. I highly recommend this food tour!

My Favorite Experience in Mexico City
Jul 2021 • Solo
I took the Colonia Roma tour with Rodrigo and it was incredible… so incredible that I had to do the Centro Historico tour with Fernanda a few days later! I’ve done food tours in top foodie cities all over the world and Sabores Mexico ranks among the very top.

The tours are thoughtfully curated, informational (more than just food - also architecture and history) and it’s clear the owners strive to show you both the newest trends and longest-standing traditions. I’d recommend their tours to everyone!
