What to Expect
Make your way to King's College in central Cambridge, and meet your guide—a Cambridge University graduate. Then, set off through the city to begin your walking tour. Learn about the discovery of DNA in Cambridge, and visit the chapels and libraries for which the university is known. Explore sites of interest such as Corpus Christi College, Great St. Mary’s Church, The Eagle pub, and the Senate House, and hear tales of student life. Along the way, learn about famous alumni such as Prince Charles, Sir Isaac Newton, and Stephen Hawking. Afterward, take to the tranquil waters of the Cam River by punt—a narrow, wooden boat ideal for these waterways.
