Liverpool Combination Ticket: River Cruise, Open-Top Bus City Tour and Cathedral Tower Tour
From US$29.04
Overview
Widely considered among England’s finest cities, Liverpool offers a UNESCO–listed waterfront, colorful Beatles music history, and a maritime heritage dating back centuries. With this 24-hour sightseeing boat and hop-on hop-off bus tour ticket, hit the key sites in comfort by land and wave—with entrance fees and commentary included. Your ticket includes entry to the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral tower and the World War II U-boat Story site.
What to Expect
Make your way to Pier Head on the River Mersey 15 minutes before the cruise time of your choice, and step aboard your sightseeing boat to begin your tour. Cruise out onto the waves and enjoy sweeping views over Liverpool’s UNESCO–listed waterfront.

Gaze out over sites of interest including the Royal Liver Building from your vantage point on the water, and gain insight into Liverpool’s maritime and musical heritage from the on-board commentary. Your cruise ticket also includes entry to the U-boat Story, a German U-boat in which Liverpool’s World War II history comes to life.

Back at Pier Head, take a seat aboard your hop-on hop-off bus and hit top attractions such as Albert Dock, the Cavern Club—where the Beatles used to play—and the Walker Art Gallery, with live on-board commentary. Busses depart every 30 minutes, and your 24-hour pass allows you the freedom to alight and explore on foot at your leisure.

Disembark at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral—one of the stops on your bus tour—and take the lifts and stairs to the top of the tower for panoramic city views. You’re then free to hop back aboard your bus to attractions including Cains Brewery and Chinatown.

A must do tour

A good town tour and river trip to get the layout of the local attractions. The boat trip day was sunny but did not have enough time to visit the U-boat.
