Overview

Experience the thrill and spectacle of the wild kingdom right in the middle of London. Head to ZSL London Zoo — a favorite attraction of Charles Darwin –– with this entry ticket, and opt to upgrade to a skip-the-line from February to October. Spend hours exploring the vibrant habitat displays like Penguin Beach, Gorilla Kingdom, and Tiger Territory. Visit more than 20 themed animal enclosures and catch a live talk or feeding.

What to Expect

With your pass to the ZSL London Zoo, enjoy access to this world-class site that sees over one million visitors per year. With more than 20 unique habitats and 800 species of animals to view, as well as a schedule of exciting animal-themed activities throughout the day, there’s a fun attraction for every visitor.

Just inside the entrance, you can see acclaimed Gorilla Kingdom exhibit. Observe the gorillas and monkeys eating, playing, and interacting in a lush simulated rainforest. Continue on the Tiger Territory, a recently updated habitat that mimics the natural environment of the Sumatran tiger.

Crossing over into Africa, see giraffes, African hunting dogs, and zebra from the elevated viewing platform. Don’t miss the slow and sinister komodo dragon in its lair or the giant Galapagos tortoise, the giant species hailing from the islands where Darwin researched his theory of evolution. Darwin enthusiasts will enjoy a visit to Blackburn Pavilion to hear more about the finches used in the ground-breaking study by Darwin and John Gould.

Whatever route you take, carve out some quality time for Penguin Beach. Home to around 200 Macaroni and Humboldt penguins, this vibrant exhibit includes a pool with underwater viewing areas and a demonstration area to view live feedings. Opt to upgrade to a skip-the-line ticket from February to October.

Brilliant Experience

An excellent experience, especially for those who have not been to a zoo before. There is a variety of animals and the Zoo talks were very interesting, especially for young people. It is a brilliant excursion to do for a day while in London.

Loved it!

Lots of fun, went on a whim on a day off, loved the ice creams and spent near enough the whole day wandering around. Lots to see and would definitely recommend the rum 'n' raisin ice cream - was sickly but delicious!

Avoid if you are looking for animals, more statues of animals than live animals

Very disappointed with the zoo in the most expensive town in the world. Really you can find more interesting zoo and also bigger one's on the continent and probably also in the UK (and I am not talking about safari parks). If you want fun...More

This was one of the best zoos we have ever gone to. We didn't really want to spend our precious vacation abroad at a zoo, but our daughter really wanted to go. We got in using our London passes. It is a bit of walk...More
