- amy25202300Amazing experienceGeoff and Steve were are drivers and tour guides! They were amazing and made the experience even better with their comical side. The speed boat itself was amazing and you get to see and learn so much in the whole time!
- theEGS00Great way to see LondonWe picked a 9:30am ride paired with the London Eye. Russ and Nathan, tour guides were helpful and provided a great tour of London. The speed boat parts were a tad scary for my younger son, but overall it was a unique way to see the city.
- 821kherbet00Can't miss activity when you're in LondonThis was easily our kids' favorite activity during our recent London trip. The ride was fun and our guide (I think his name was Brad) was hilarious.
- Yasmin W00A must-do for thrill seekers!Really fun way to see London, would recommend to everyone! Geoff and Charlene were great, with Geoff keeping us entertained and informed throughout the trip
- affiliatefinch00Good but expensiveIt’s more than average but the trip advisor ratings jump from ‘average to very good’ I thought that the experience was good and myself and my boys really enjoyed it . The staff on board were great . My only gripe was the cost . I think for what it is , it is very expensive. £160 for 50 mins is what it would have been if I hadn’t vouchers to redeem. If I hadn’t had them I doubt I would pay that much for the experience but if you’ve got it to spend , go for it .
- J6758ULkat00Bucket List AttractionI was surprised to know it was suitable for children and let me tell you my kids still talk about it often! It was very safe and informative. Best way to see London with kids. So much fun, highly recommend!
- Markbe100Great fun!We had a fantastic time on the boat! It was a Xmas present and so pleased we went on it, fantastic hosting from Geoff, and sorry can’t remember the ladies name behind the wheel, she was great too! Downside was it was raining and was absolutely drenched but hey ho it was experience! Thanks so much!
- DaneShewis00Great experience forHad a great time on the Thames Rockets tour! Loads of laughs and very fast! Thanks to Stacey and Steve. Would definitely recommend, adults and kids all had a great time!
- Vacation5889033696300Fabulous experienceFabulous experience with Jeff as our guide and Tom as our skipper. Once we got past the police boats they really let rip and we had the most exhilarating time. The boat gets thrown around but never once do you feel unsafe. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.
- angelada202300Brilliant tripWe had a great time Ed and Mark were great, professional and a good laugh. Highly recommend great site seeing.
- SSSSSSSSSRRRR00That was greatI thought it would be fun but it was even more fun than I thought. Geoff and Bill were superb. Thank you so much.
- 444shm5200Great experienceA really enjoyable hour. Made to feel welcome and safe from the start. A safety briefing and we were off seeing London from a very different perspective. It was brilliant. The crew Phil and Gary were great fun and we had a floating guided tour on our return journey. We really enjoyed the fast section of the trip and felt safe at all times.
- smithnj62009th September - absolutely brilliantThank you so much to Thames Rocket and in particular Jane (and Bill and Simon the crew) who made my birthday so memorable. I did this experience on Monday, even though the weather was a little bit chilly, it didn't stop Geoff from being full of energy making everyone on the boat laugh. It was a fun experience, highly recommend to people who want to learn a few fun facts about London and who have a bit of a thing for adrenaline. Definitely will be taking some friends on here when they visit from out of town! P.S. thanks to Adam who was kind enough to take a bunch of photos so I could get one for the gram!

I booked this experience through Virgin after being cancelled on very last minute by another company for my boyfriends birthday. I spoke to them on the phone and they were more than helpful and advised they have lots of availability and reassured me that they won't cancel last minute. In regard to Covid-19, masks are worn on the pier but not the boat and you only sit with your group but the boat does fill (up to 12 people).
On arrival on the day, we were greeted by the loveliest man called Geoff (with a 'G') who was an absolute delight. He explained everything from start to finish and made such an effort to speak to everyone on board. He kept the whole experience really fun and interesting with facts about London you wouldn't know, as opposed to the standard tour guide stating the obvious buildings. As it was my boyfriends birthday, he got everyone to sing Happy Birthday and played songs through the speakers dedicated to him, prior to then playing the playlist which was perfectly thought out and each song is associated to the trip and James Bond of course! We did not stop smiling and laughing!
Geoff and Nick were great fun and such lovely, comedic people, we can't recommend this trip enough for those wanting a tour on the Thames with a twist and bit of excitement! Can't wait to return in the future! Thank you so much!

Amazing experience. Bill was a hilarious guide, very funny, whitty and genuinely interesting and very cool nuggets of information about all sorts of buildings, bridges and bizarre things about london! All very safe and made to feel very comfortable. Simon was an incredible driver, insane handling skills and really made the most of the river and speed! Fab pair, would 100% do again, didn’t get wet but was left with aching cheeks and genuinely learnt some really cool facts. 10/10. Thought it may have been a little disappointing for a family that really like thrills but the speed was unexpected and doing it at dusk was the perfect time of day.
Thank you bill and Simon, legends!

What a fantastic experience! We were in London celebrating our 20 year anniversary and had booked this instead of a river "cruise" and we are so glad that we did. We got a whistle stop tour of the sights up and down the Thames and a high speed adrenaline rush ride at the same time. Hats off to the crew - Richard who gave us a rollercoaster ride at high speed and Geoff, who looked after us all, made us laugh, was informative, chatty, funny, welcoming and made us feel special. The weather was awful, the rain at one point was stinging my face as we went speeding down the Thames and after we got off it felt like I had been in the Thames instead of on it but it didn't make any difference to how enjoyable the whole experience was, we absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone. We will be going to London next year for another theatre trip with friends and we will be making sure to factor in another speed boat ride with friends in tow.

On arrival we were kitted out in suitable attire and given a clear safety talk. We then took off up the Thames, it was a fantastic way to see some of London's iconic landmarks with a bit of history facts thrown in with much comedy by the talented staff. When it was safe to do so the driver opened up the throttle and we had an exhilarating fast speed ride with very appropriate music . I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to learn about London whilst having fun. It was a superb experience and we will definitely be going again , in fact we're already booked for August and can't wait to do it all again .

Had our trip on 5th March which was the wettest day I can remember in London for a long time. The six of us had a great time thanks to the crew Phil and Geoff mainly Geoff with his humorous delivery of many facts on landmarks and on the river itself, Phil far to busy steering the rib. Great trip recommended in any weather as proper waterproof clothing and safety equipment supplied, great fun

Cannot recommend this highly enough - definitely a top London attraction! I’ve lived in London for years and get lots of visitors - I always suggest they do one of these trips as it’s a great way to see the city as well as being brilliantly entertaining. I’ve been several times myself and loved it every time. Guides are fantastic - really funny, and knowledgeable too. I’ve got people planning to visit me over the summer, lockdown permitting, so here’s hoping the boats are back out on the river very soon!

Would highly recommend these guys, we came up from Dorset and wanted something exciting to do outside rather then being inside with lots of people. Cannot recommend these guys enough everything was very well thought out and you could see them cleaning the boat down after each cruise. The trip was fun and exciting and really fast, It was great fun a special thanks to Bill and Nick for making our trip to London a great experience!!

Geoff was our guide and Andy the driver. Geoff was very funny and entertaining. He made the experience really special for my daughter especially, encouraging the whole boat to sing happy birthday to her and another passenger en route. We'd had quite a negative experience of our day in London up to that point (over priced food/drinks/toilet facilities(!) but as soon as we walked down to get on the boat everyone was super friendly and it completely changed our mood. The actual experience was brilliant and although it's not cheap, it really is an experience not to be forgotten..
I used Tesco Clubcard vouchers to triple their value but even if I'd paid standard price I'd have felt it was a good experience for the money.
I highly recommend it, especially for children, my daughter age (7) and I loved every minute!

Have mulled this one over a bit - it was certainly very good but, and i'm sorry, i cannot quite just nudge it up to excellent.
The kids REALLY enjoyed it (12-19 years). They would all have given it six stars if possible. The two teenage daughters loved shrieking, waving their arms around and singing along to the music. Maybe it was the torrential downpour on the return leg that dampened my enthusiasm (clearly not the trip's fault!). Maybe a mixed combination of it not being quite as exhilarating as i expected, the guide bits of info being a 'bit light', the weather or, more likely, that I was just being a bit miserable.

We have tickets for the Eye for 15:00. Are we safe with time booking rib boat tickets for 16:00?

While we didn't do The Eye before our boat ride, we did need to be at the Thames Rocket pier 15 minutes before ropes-off , for a safety briefing & fitting life jackets. The pier is right next to The Eye.
Hi! This cruise does sound like fun. Can four-eyed people enjoy this ride without fear of glasses flying off and drowning thereby leaving us two-eyed with blurry vision for the rest of our trip?

Hi, I have a birthday party of 12 turning 13 year old and her friends around 16-17 children in total Obviously I would be the only Parent coming, is that acceptable or is there a slower one which you would recommend?
Thanks

Hi Vicki, yes a 6 year old would be fine, we had an 8 year old on the boat and he adored it. Its such a great activity for a family. My friend who introduced me to it, took her 80 year old mother on it last week for her birthday and she loved it!
Hi there, trying to book this tour for 20 Aug at 2.15pm x 2 adults. As I live in Northern Ireland, the payment page won't accept post code. Can you advise? Have also tried Google pay but won't let me do it either.

The high speed boats taken 12 people so if you book online in advance for one time slot you should all be on the same boat - might be worth contacting them direct though to make sure
