Thrill-seekers looking for views across London shouldn't bother with tours that whisk you to a viewing platform in an elevator, when you can hike up the outside of the O2. During this O2 climb, you strap into a harness and climb all the way to the roof. At the top dome, enjoy panoramic views from Canary Wharf to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, before the climb back down.

Highlights
Climb to the top of the O2 in London on this panoramic adventure tour
Take in some of the best London views, across both sides of the River Thames
Hike up a 170-foot (52-meter) building with an experienced guide
Stay safe with the correct gear—climbing suit, boots, and harness—included
What to expect
Make your way to The O2, located near the North Greenwich Station tube stop, and find the Up the O2 Basecamp.  Meet your experienced climbing guide and group of fellow thrill seekers. Listen to a safety briefing and orientation to the 170-foot (52-meter) structure that is home to a variety of restaurants and entertainment options, and is the world's busiest music venue. Get fitted for a climb suit, boots, harness, and latch.  After the briefing, latch into the safety system and begin the steep ascent, which reaches up to 30 degrees. Make it to the top of the dome for 360-degree views over London, including both the north and south of the winding River Thames. See the historic grounds of Greenwich, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf. You're not done yet; the descent is part of the thrill. Your experience ends safely back at the base camp.

Great trip
May 2021
Nathan was a great guide and we had a brilliant time. The weather held up for half of the trip - but even with bad weather, the other half was a lot of fun too!

Enjoyable Experience
May 2021 • Family
Great experience, with our 14 and 11 year old. Amazing 360 views around London. Our guide Troy was friendly, helpful and informative.

There was a quick safety briefing, then you get your shoes and put your bags & shoes in boxes which are locked away. Your guide helps you put on your harness and then you head up. Photos are available to buy, and our guide kindly took photos of us on the viewing area at the top.

The initial ascent is a little steep but then it evens off and the final descent is the same (I went down backwards which I found easier). The shoes are really good.

Definitely recommend especially on a clear day!

I conquered my fear!
I was sooooo nervous as I have fear of heights!! Our amazing guide Colm was very patient and reassuring and gave me the confidence to achieve my goal. I was shaking all the way up and all the way back down again, but it was worth it to see the magnificent views when we got to the top!! Thank you Colm 😊

Confidence boost
Apr 2021
I booked a wheelchair climb for my wife who has had a stroke, the staff were fabulous and really enjoy helping disabled visitors to the summit and back down. I accompanied my wife along with other family members and it was an amazing experience for us all with great views over London and the Thames with plenty of information from the knowledgeable guides.

Twilight climb
I went with friends for a birthday and had a great experience. The staff, especially our guide Jacob, were efficient and accommodating. The climb was steep in parts but does not require a high fitness level. Nice views can be seen from the viewing platform with plenty of time for photo opportunities. I would advise wearing leggings or jogging bottoms rather than jeans and dressing warm as it was breezy at the top! Overall, a fun activity!

Fabulous Twilight climb
We went for a friends birthday, the staff were efficient, friendly and clear. I was really nervous as I’m scared of heights but our guide Jacob was super friendly and really made me feel at ease. The walk is steep but not exhausting, it doesn’t take a high fitness level to do it. The views were nice and there’s lots of photo opportunities. It’s really windy so wrap up and I advise gloves! All in all well worth a visit :)

Fantastic activity
Apr 2021 • Couples
We climbed the O2 yesterday. It's the 2nd time we've done this activity and we thoroughly enjoyed it again.
The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Matt was our guide and his knowledge of the O2 and London is exceptional.
He was very professional but also relaxed enough to make us all feel at ease.
We stopped halfway on the way down to observe the national minutes silence for the Duke of Edinburgh. This was conducted with much respect.
Overall a great activity to do and I would highly recommend itto anyone.

Fantastic experience!
Apr 2021 • Couples
We had a great time this morning climbing the O2. All the staff were friendly and ensured COVID guidelines were adhered to. Our guide Claire was very knowledgeable and informative, friendly and great at calming any nerves. I felt in safe hands both in terms of COVID-19 safety & the fact I was walking over the top of the 02. The views from the top were amazing.
I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone.
