Super Interesting and Spooky
Oct 2021
We loved this tour, my friend and I had never been before. The guide was brilliant and really knew what he was talking about.
The vaults are not wheelchair friendly and would not be great for people who can't walk far, my mum uses sticks and asked me so thought I would mention it for anyone else.
The vaults were really cool, they were pretty creepy and so interesting, definitely a must see if in Edinburgh.

What a fantastic end to our Edinburgh trip! Our guide Tuesday was fantastic, she was super informative and made the whole experience so interesting and fun. We couldn't have got a better guide as i was so dubious to actually go on the tour but she made us feel so at ease that we enjoyed every minute! Will definately book again :)

Terror Tour with Tuesday
Oct 2021 • Friends
Such an interesting and informative tour, Tuesday was so knowledgeable and made us laugh as well as tell us the grisly tales of Edinburgh’s dark past. Would thoroughly recommend to those who love history and the paranormal!

we throughly enjoyed the tour, and my partner is very skeptic about the ghosts, and that everything happens for a reason,so he didn't think twice about walking through the circle of stones. (this is fully explained on the tour)
we arrived back from the tour, made it up to our hotel room where we literally took our boots off when the fire alarms sounded! we had done the late night tour, so this was 11.30pm, the whole hotel was evacuated and after waiting for the fire brigade to check out what had caused it. They couldn't find anything and stated it was 'a unexplained fault'!! coincidence......... I think not.

so if you want a selection of unexplained incidents to happen to you, then this is the tour for you.

Darren was a great host,

We experienced the underground vaults terror night tour last weekend- although I enjoyed the tour , I thought it was going to be scarier than it was .
Darren the guide was easy to listen to and knowledgeable.

Not what I expected since the title of the tour!
Sep 2021 • Friends
I was expecting something scary happening.. When we went into a completely dark room started to get interesting but it was already the end. Too much talking and no action.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry that the tour did not live up to your expectations. We avoid having jumper outers or similar as we feel it detracts from the tour and the atmosphere of our vaults.

Worth doing if you’re into history and or the paranormal
Sep 2021 • Couples
We were both a tad sceptical about the tour due to the paranormal side but decided to give it a go and neither of us were disappointed. It was a educational in parts with a good bit of humour, (although Darren’s jokes were the most haunting aspect of the tour!) all in all a good laugh and Darren was a great guide with decent knowledge of the city and the vaults.

And we didn’t get woken at 3am after jumping into the stone circle of the wiccans!

Brilliantly spooky walking tour

Took the tour with Darren as our guide......it was excellently creepy with a few jump scares. He spoke clearly and loudly which was great and his knowledge was thorough. Not for the easily spooked but a really great tour

Never knew Edinburgh had such a grousome history. Would highly recommend this, the vaults have so much history and getting to see the torture devices up close was another experience. Andrew our tour guide was absolutely fantastic, he made the experience amazing, perfect amount of laughter and terror. Was thrilled that we where his first night tour. 100% going to do it again.
