Explore Edinburgh's UNESCO World Heritage Center on a 2 hour, small group tour with an audio guide and driver in a glass roofed, convertible mini-coach. Get off the beaten track with a trip to Edinburgh's quaint Dean Village, packed full of charming cobbled lanes. Hear tales from the city's fascinating history and discover Edinburgh Castle, the Grassmarket, and many more of the Scottish capital's top attractions.
  • Experience Edinburgh in a brief period of time
  • Avoid driving and easily see city highlights in a top-of-the-range, 16-seat Mercedes mini-coach
  • Learn about local attractions from onboard audio commentary
  • Small-group tour for a more personalized experience
What to Expect
Your tour begins at Waterloo Place in central Edinburgh, where you board your glass-roofed, top-of-the-range, 16-seat Mercedes mini-coach and set off to explore the city. First, ride down Princes Street and learn about Edinburgh Castle and the Princes Street Gardens. Continue on to Grassmarket, a historic market in the city’s Old Town. Then, head to the central university area and stop for photo ops at buildings that inspired British author J.K. Rowling. After that, drive down the famous Royal Mile and head to Edinburgh’s New Town. Pass by the National Gallery and continue on to Queen Street and George Street, past Calton Hill, to the foot of Arthur’s Seat and Holyrood Palace. Then, pass through the Canongate district. Your tour ends back at the original departure point.

We're very sorry to see that you did not enjoy our Edinburgh City Tour. As advertised, there is no guide on this tour and instead we have audio commentary which points out the sites and gives a little history along the way. The drivers are not there to share information, but it should go without saying that we expect all of our team to be friendly and engaged. We're sorry to hear that this was not the case and that the tour was not what you expected, overall. Thanks for your feedback and we do hope that you enjoyed your time in Edinburgh. All the best, Aimee

We are neither xenophobic nor unintelligent, but try as we might, there was no way to understand a word of our driver's constant unintelligible banter (no way of telling if it was interesting). She was from Spain. I have no problem with English-speaking Spaniards for the most

We employ our team based on their abilities, so nationality is totally irrelevant. Unlike other Rabbie's tours, our City tours have audio commentary and a driver rather than a live driver guide. The driver is there to welcome and lead passengers safely around the City, not to share information. Nonetheless, we're sorry to hear that you struggled to understand the driver. We're glad that you enjoyed Edinburgh. Kind Regards, Aimee

The driver was very nice, but English was a second language and that combined with a Scottish accent resulted in our not understanding half of what she said during the trip. We passed many interesting buildings with no explanation of what they were. Made one stop but it was in

The best way to see Edinburgh is on foot. Traffic is horrible, especially in August, and getting good photos whole on a bus is difficult. Having said that, if you aren't able to walk, this tour is a great way to see the city. The narration was interesting, and the seats were
