Beyond Perfect!

The tour was a perfect balance of learning about history, fun facts, and current happenings in Edinburgh and Scotland. We all felt unique, special, and valued. The tour was relaxed, transportation was very comfortable and Sandy our guide was amazing. He read the room well, he adapted, he was patient and he tapped into what our group needed. We all agreed we would have adopted him on our entire journey. My family and I can not recommend Experienced Tours enough

We had the most fantastic time on this tour. Sandy was the perfect guide. He was intuitive to us as a group of rowdy women, but also individually when we needed might need something hot to drink or hide from the bitter wind. This really is a luxury tour on all fronts. Sandy was knowledgeable, funny and just a pleasure to be around with his calm and friendly manner. I would rebook this tour in an instance and highly recommend. This is possibly the very best way of seeing and experiencing Edinburgh in all its glory.

Awesome tour!

What an exceptional tour this was! Well worth the price! Sandy (our tour guide) was super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and just a nice chap to talk to! He made the tour! We saw all the sites we we hoping to. Filled with tons of information and saw things we probably would haven’t if we didn’t take the tour. Make sure you stop at the little coffee shop in new town for a perfect cup of coffee and short bread! Fleur (?) the owner of the coffee was very nice and an easy talk (and she has an awesome view from her work window!)

If/when we come back, we would definitely do another tour with Sandy! Thanks for the great memories!

Couldn’t have had a better guide
Our half day tour of Edinburgh was delightful. Our tour guide Sandy was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. He was on time, and communicated through the entire trip if there was anything we would like to know or see. I would have booked more tours with our guide but he was booked the rest of our stay here. 100% recommend. I will book in the future.

BEST TOUR EVER!!!

We actually took the full day tour and I can't say enough good things about our tour experience and, more importantly, our guide Alexander (Sandy). He was top notch. He immediately made us feel at home. Alexander was down to earth, funny and SO knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of Scotland as well as all of the areas we were fortunate enough to witness. The tour van was very comfortable with plenty of room even with a family of five.

If you're reading this review trying to decide if you want to book this tour, let me tell you that you absolutely should! You will not regret it and will have memories for a lifetime. I highly recommended his tour. Alexander thank you for an amazing day! We will never forget it and will be in touch for a future tour.

Knowledgeable Guide

Sandy was an awesome and knowledgeable guide. We only had a short time in Edinburgh and he made our visit unforgettable. We had an issue with reminder of our Scotland trip to Inverness and he went out of his way to help us resolve our issue. He saved our trip.

Afternoon in Edinburgh

Had a wonderful afternoon touring Edinburgh with Alexandre. From planning the tour to completion of the tour Alexandre was polite, knowledgeable and accommodating. We made a few adjustments to his usual itinerary and we saw so much more of Edinburgh than we would have seen on our own. From well known monuments to out of the way streets (news) we totally enjoyed our tour.

If you do one thing in Edinburgh then make sure it’s a tour with Alexander! We had the most amazing morning touring this beautiful city in the comfort of a spotless Mercedes minivan. Our party of 5 ranged from ages 18 to 82 and our time was equally enjoyed by all. Lots of interesting information, humour, history, discussion and sightseeing. We even managed to squeeze in a cake, coffee, and comfort stop! Highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a bespoke, private tour. Thank you Alexander, we had a ball, it was certainly the highlight of our trip to Scotland.

I had less than a day to see as much as possible of Edinburgh and could not have been in more capable hands. Alexander was professional, so easy to get along with and seemed to have endless knowledge, not only about this beautiful city, but included many anecdotal pieces of information that made this a perfect tour for me.

Excellent private tour of Edinburgh
Wonderful half day tour of Edinburgh- Alexander was extremely knowledgeable and we felt that we really got a very good understanding of the somewhat complicated history of the Scots and this area. The vehicle was immaculate and very comfortable. It is plain to see either our guide has a history degree or is just extremely well read on the subject. Alexander still made it fun however and we would certainly highly recommend this tour!!
