Giant’s Causeway – Game Of Thrones Day Trip from Dublin
From US$76.58
Overview

The rugged coastal scenery and dramatic landscapes seen on-screen in Game of Thrones are some of Northern Ireland’s most beautiful. This full-day tour takes you to memorable filming sites such as the Dark Hedges and Dunluce Castle, as well as the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Giant’s Causeway, and the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge.

What to Expect

Meet your guide in central Dublin for an early morning departure. Traveling aboard an air-conditioned coach, set out through the Irish countryside as you cross into Northern Ireland.

The first stop is Dark Hedges, a filming site from Game of Thrones. Hop out to take photos as your guide explains its role in the series and recounts anecdotes about filming in Northern Ireland.

Continue to Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the rock formations, walk in the footsteps of giants, and pay a visit to the nearby Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Brave a walk across the bridge, with the waves crashing below and jagged cliffs looming overhead.

Drive along Northern Ireland’s Antrim Coastal road and explore Dunluce castle

Your tour ends in central Dublin.

This is NOT a true guided tour. It’s a long bus drive up to the sites and then you’re on your own. Liam our driver was pleasant and an excellent driver but he was an amateur guide at best. He explained certain tings as he...More

Amazing sites, but not enough time at the critical points

OK, so apparently I'm not THAT much into Games of Thrones. The Dark Roads were OK, but I would have KILLED for more time at the Causeway or the Carrick rope bridge. The two locations were so impressive up against the wild Atlantic coast. We...More
