Wicklow Day Trip with Guided Walk Including Glendalough Tour from Dublin
From US$43.16
Low Price Guarantee
Overview
You don’t need to hire a car to experience the Irish countryside! This guided day trip from Dublin to Wicklow Mountains National Park encompasses many of County Wicklow’s most beautiful views, without you ever having to find a parking spot, stop for gas, or check your phone for directions. And, you’ll learn all about local plants and wildlife as you walk through the national park with your friendly guide.
What to Expect
Meet your guide and small group in central Dublin for the scenic drive south to County Wicklow and the Wicklow Mountains National Park. Here you’ll spend about 90 minutes exploring the Spinc ridge with your guide, following the Dublin Mountains Way through lush woodland for spectacular views.
After a stop in the Victorian village of Enniskerry, used as a filming location in P.S. I Love You, comes one of the most scenic portions of the route. Enjoy plenty of photo stops as you travel through Wicklow Mountains National Park, Glencree, Lough Tay, the Guinness Estate, and Sally Gap.
Finally, you’ll arrive at Glendalough, the tranquil valley best known for its sixth-century monastery founded by St. Kevin. Take a walk, relax, and see the sights before your driver brings you back to Dublin by a different—but also picturesque—route.

The tour was very informative and the driver added a wonderful personal touch to everything. I've traveled a lot and I think these tours were the best decision we made. The roads were pretty tricking and I appreciated NOT having to drive them. The hike...More

Had a great time even though I was traveling by myself! Rob made the effort to talk to everyone on the tour and get to know them. Very knowledgeable and showed genuinely he cared for what he was talking about.

Our guide Robert was a friendly, entertaining host, and brought the sights and sites with his knowledge of the area. He brought Ireland's history alive as he educated us, keeping us engaged with his own unique sense of humor. The weather was colder than expected,...More

Our guide John provided a great day of driving with enough walking to make the day seem too short. Walking past flowering wild garlic meadows, watching the local horses eat carrots while walking through their country side, the fresh air, and the old mass trail...More

Hi! Thank you for your question. There is what they call Wicklow Walk which will take 7 days to complete. There are hostels where you can stop and rest. If your aim is a day tour, I am recommending either a private car... More
