Jim was welcoming and knowledgeable about the food scene in Dublin and across the country. We sampled wonderful bites and also received 101 tips on the foods, dining scenes and walks in both Dublin and along the wild Atlantic way. EVERY suggestion we were able to follow-up on

We had an absolutely wonderful time with Jim. He is funny, knowledgeable, and showed us a side of the Dublin food scene that we would not have otherwise seen. He is a master storyteller, and the way he wove information together about the food we were eating and Irish history was

Response from Traveling Spoon R, Owner at Private Dublin Walking Food Tour with a Local Food Historian
Responded 10 May 2019
Dear Jobonds, Thank you so much for your honest feedback and for letting us know about your experience. I was so disappointed to hear that Jim did not show up for your food tour experience and am truly sorry. I can imagine how disappointed and frustrated you must have been when your tour guide didn't provide this experience you were so looking forward to. We also apologize for how long it took for you to receive your refund. There was a communication breakdown on our end and we are working hard to ensure this does not happen again. Our goal as a company is to provide our travelers with meaningful, cultural and culinary experience. We fell short and we take responsibility for you not receiving the experience you expected. Please accept my sincere apologies. We are working to ensure refunds are processed in a timely manner and that our hosts make every effort to provide the confirmed experience or give enough notification if they are unable to make it due to unavoidable circumstances. Again, I am truly sorry that you had a negative experience. That is not the level of service we strive to provide. Thank you again for providing your valuable feedback, we truly appreciate the time you took to give us your thoughts so that we might improve. We hope we might have the chance to make up for it and serve you in the future. Thank you so much! Sincerely, Aashi Traveling Spoon Team

Jim gave us the best way to experience Dublin. We enjoyed our tour the first full day we were in Dublin and he gave us an insider look at what to do and where to eat in Dublin. Now we don't need to guess which pub to hang out in or where to go to grab a picnic lunch or enjoy a
