Overview

When in Strasbourg, a wine tour of the Alsace is must for any wine lover. But tasting and driving don’t mix, while it can be hard to choose which charming village to visit and which to omit. Take the pressure out of travel-planning and the unit-counting out of tasting on this 100% customizable private Alsace tour: You can tailor-make the day to suit your interests.

What to Expect

This tour is 100% customizable—you can include from one to four wine tastings—but starts and finishes at your Strasbourg hotel.

A typical itinerary begins with the town of Colmar, continues to the medieval village of Riquewihr, and covers several typical Alsatian villages with wine tastings (usually of five to seven wines) at local wineries. It concludes with the Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg and sweeping views of the Rhine Valley, Black Forest, and Vosges mountains.

Other options, which may involve additional expense, include a picnic in the vineyard, a Michelin-starred lunch, a vineyard Segway tour, a visit to a local brewery or distillery, or a trip to the World War II concentration camp Le Struthof.

Thank you for your review! Strong relatonship with several wineries in Alsace allow us to visit the wineries, even when there is some work ongoing, and when you get lucky we can see the workers acting to prepare you the best wines!
