This was my wife’s choice of an activity, but I ended up thoroughly enjoying it too. Our guide, Louis, was great fun and we had a wonderful time zooming all around Paris. We felt safe, even though the Paris traffic is challenging; Louis was a very good and obviously experienced driver. We’ve been to Paris a couple times, but this tour gave us a different perspective of the city, from the actual street level, with cars. We have always relied on walking and the Metro; never rented a car, so the experience with the sidecar was fun and interesting.

Truly one of the most fun city tours I've ever taken. Julien, our charming Gentleman Sider & Co-founder, took us on a magical motorcycle ride through the streets of Paris, while providing interesting facts, history and places of interest along the way. I was laughing and smiling the entire time. HIGHLY recommend this experience!!

A free afternoon on our Paris tour. Booked months in advance and not a motorcycle fan the wife and I took an one hour tour of the landmarks. Rain was not part of the plan however the grin on the wife's face for the next two hours was my highlight of the trip. If you get wet I sugest Jack Daniel's.

We have our own Ural motorcycle, but when we saw that we could tour Paris in one, we jumped at the chance. We chose the evening Champagne tour and Julienne arrived right on time at our hotel with protective gear for us to wear (helmets with an intercom so that you can talk to each other). He gave us an outline of where we should go and we were off through the streets of downtown. The best was stopping for photo ops in all the prime places, including arriving right on time to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkler while he poured champagne for my wife and I.

Since he offered to drop us anywhere, we asked for a restaurant recommendation and he dropped us off there, making sure we'd be able to get a table first. My only regret was not having more time to ride!

I managed to book 3 sidecars for the 5 of us on a Sunday afternoon, which included my 10 yr old son and my 81 yr old father. The tour was so much fun, the drivers were knowledgeable and safe. Travelling through the Paris streets with an unobstructed view and commentary via headphones/microphones built into the helmets was fantastic. We took the 1.5 tour of Montmartre which was the best way for us to get Sacre Coeur since my dad's mobility is quite limited. My dad enjoyed the experience--he said he felt like an army general in the side car. My 10 year old son had the best time. My husband, who is risk adverse allowed him to ride behind Remy instead of the sidecar. Would go again and book the night tour if I return to Paris. Merci Retro Tour for a memorable tour!

Our tour last night with Romain was epic. He picked us up from the hotel and we drove off into the sunset. This is the way to get your bearings on your first day! Check when sunset is due and staying up also helped us with time zones. It was a cold evening but we were warm and the champagne was a treat. Paris by night was such an magical adventure. I highly recommend it. So many people waved and smiled as we raced around the best sights. We were beaming for hours afterwards. Romain had a great mix of humour and information.

My wife and I enjoyed a Retro tour of Paris in a Russian Ural motorcycle sidecar outfit and it was fantastic. Our driver was Chris, he was very knowledgeable being a native Parisian. His riding skills were superb, although there was, of course, a lot of Paris city traffic, Chris expertly navigated around all the beautiful historical streets, giving us such a different perspective of the city, which I think can only be achieved in a sidecar. It seems you are so in touch with the streets and in the open air. At no time did we feel worried about being on a motorcycle and Chris worked hard to make us feel comfortable and secure. I would thoroughly recommend this tour for anyone of any age that can swing their leg over either the bike or into the sidecar. I would also recommend Chris as a very safe and knowledgeable rider and guide.

As the others have summarized, this is an amazing and unique tour of Paris. We 4 women were showed the city by Julian and Charlie. They are expert drivers and not once did we feel in any danger as they zipped through traffic, telling us about the city and pointing out highlights. we 4 are seasoned Paris goers, but this way of seeing the city was different from walking the streets or taking a bus tour. Both drivers were professional and fun. We even had another man on his motorcycle whip out his phone and take our picture while we were all at a stop light. As we toured the city people on the street stopped and stared and then smiled as we whipped by. This tour can't be beat. Treat yourself

...unless you want to have the absolute GREATEST time of your life then by all means, book this now!! Charly & Laurent we loved you!! Thank you for the most fabulous day of our trip. We had so much fun hanging out with you. We did the custom 7-hour tour of Paris which was the BEST possible way to see the sights. Because you're on a motorcycle, you're able to cut through traffic making it much easier to see more than you would in a car or on a bus. They go much faster than a bicycle (naturally) and there's no way you could possible cover this much ground on foot so all around it really is the best option. We saw all of France's iconic images and got to see so many neighborhoods. We stopped to eat, take lots of pictures, it was a great day. One of the best parts is that the entire city stops to stare, take videos and pictures of you as you pass - you feel like a celebrity - it's so fun. I absolutely cannot recommend Retro Tour enough!! Charly & Laurent, merci beaucoup! xoxoxoxo

My wife and I booked the night couples special as we were looking for something unique and fun to do in the city of lights. From the first moment I met Remy it was clear that he was a one of a kind tour guide. He asked us what kind of cruise we would like to do and I explained to him that in our week in Paris we had already seen many of the must-see sites with our family like Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, Louvre, Tour Eiffel, Arc De Triumphe, and others. He said that he knew exactly the places we must go then instead. He agreed to meet us at our hotel and was there ten minutes before. He took us through the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood first. Small winding alleys, little cobble-stoned streets, and unique shops dotted the area. We even stopped at a small fromagerie (cheese shop) and Remy spoke with the shop owner in rapid french. A second later the old man had his knife out and provided us with samples of some of the best cheese I have ever tasted, all while still on the motorcycle! We then travelled for more than an hour and a half all while Remy told us the history and background on the sites we passed in perfect english. We told him that we had seen Notre Dame during the day but he explained that we must see it at night and he was right. The cathedral is ever so beautiful in the evening lit up. We then went to the Eiffel Tower were he parked us right in front with a great view. The tower was lit up spectacularly. Remy reached into the trunk of his sidecar and provided a bottle of champagne and two glasses for us to enjoy. He then jokingly said he was going to make a phone call upstairs to the tower and within about a minute the Tower started sparkling magically like it does on the hour every evening hour during this time of year. The tour lasted for a little bit longer and we were done. Remy made us feel like old friends and was so very personable. I also never felt unsafe even though traffic can be quite crazy in Paris and we were on a motorcycle. He provided very warm jackets and hand warmers and also cool helmets. One other thing I must mention is that EVERYWHERE we went on the trip people in their cars and on the streets were taking pictures of us, it made us feel like mini celebrities. It is such a unique way to see the city and I cannot recommend this tour enough. Thank you Remy for one of the most memorable parts of our two week vacation in Europe.
