Overview
Get access to the magnificent Palace and Gardens of Versailles with this independent entrance ticket. Choose from six options to explore different areas of the Versailles estate, and marvel at the lavish palaces and grounds of what was the official residence of France’s kings during the 1700s. Witness the Palace’s Hall of Mirrors, admire the fountain-studded gardens, see the Trianons palaces; and visit Marie-Antoinette’s Estate, with her romanticized village. If you wish, choose a ticket that includes entrance to the Musical Fountains and Musical Gardens shows during summer.
What to Expect
Select your desired audio tour from the six available on booking. Then, travel independently to the Palace of Versailles outside Paris and set off on your chosen option. See below for details of the options and the palace, gardens and show access each provides.
Versailles Palace and Gardens:Enjoy a self-guided audio tour of the main Palace of Versailles, including the Hall of Mirrors, Grand Apartments of the King and Queen, and more. Then, stroll around the magnificent Gardens of Versailles. Please note: the Versailles gardens are not accessible on those days when the Musical Gardens and Musical Fountains shows are on. Check the Itinerary for the show calendar.

Marie-Antoinette’s Estate and the Trianon Palaces:
If you’ve been to Versailles before but didn’t explore these areas, this option is ideal. With it, you gain access to the Grand and Petit Trianon palaces and gardens; the personal royal domains created in the Versailles grounds. The Grand Trianon was later restored and used by Napoleon Bonaparte, who sometimes stayed here with his second wife, Empress Marie-Louise. Your tour also includes entry to Marie-Antoinette’s Estate, including her Hamlet, where she created an idealized French village as a retreat from court life. Please note: this ticket does not include entrance to the main Versailles Palace or other sights in the palace gardens.

1-Day Passport:Enjoy access to the entire Versailles estate over one day. Explore the Palace and Gardens of Versailles; behold the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon domains; and see Marie-Antoinette’s Estate, with its rustic-style Hamlet, inspired by her idealized vision of a French village. Please note: the Versailles gardens are not accessible on those days when the Musical Gardens and Musical Fountains shows are on. Check the Itinerary for the show calendar.
1-Day Passport and Musical Fountains Show or Musical Gardens Ticket:Explore the Palace of Versailles, amble through the Gardens of Versailles, wonder at the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon domains; and stroll through Marie-Antoinette’s Estate with its Hamlet, modeled on a romanticized vision of a Norman village with cottage-style houses framing a lake. Entrance to the Musical Fountains or Musical Gardens show is included. Check the Itinerary for the show calendar.

2-Day Passport:
Make the most of Versailles’ scale and grandeur with two consecutive days of access to the entire estate. Visit the opulent Palace and Gardens of Versailles; stroll around the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon domains; and enjoy the Musical Fountains Show. Please note: the Versailles gardens are not accessible on those days when the Musical Gardens and Musical Fountains shows are on. Check the Itinerary for the show calendar.

2-Day Passport and Musical Fountains Show or Musical Gardens Ticket:
Give the Palace of Versailles and its estate the time it deserves with this all-encompassing 2-day ticket. Enjoy two consecutive days to explore the Palace of Versailles and its Gardens; see the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon; visit Marie-Antoinette’s Estate, and attend the Musical Gardens or Musical Fountains show. Check the Itinerary for the show calendar.

Very disappointing

The tickets I’d purchased were not eligible when we arrived so had to pay more money. The tickets clearly stated included fountains on a Saturday & we went on a Sunday so that was irrelevant. There was no mention before arrival of fountains on a...More

If you don't mind the long lines and the long wait and appreciate culture and history, this is definitely the place for you. The rooms can get too crowded with tourists. The audio guide is very helpful in knowing more about France's rich history, but...More
