Alhambra is so worth to visit, our guide had told us a lot of interesting things. BUT the company is cheating, their tickets 2x times expensive than the normal ones. Their site looks like the official site, but it's not. Be careful

Be careful, they are proposing a tour that you can by on site at half of this price. The tour does not include the Palacios Nazaries visit anyway. And in their annoucement is not so clear and evident. By the way, we bought here with My Top Tour and we discovered half of the price at the ticket office of the Alhambra and the fact that Nazaries were not included. Very triky. However we enjoyed what we could visit a lot, and we promised ourselves to inform next tourists somehow. This is the way we could let you know ! Nice Alhambra

Unfortunately We concur with the other negative reviews.
We thought we were organised until we got this message the night before
“I contact you regarding your booking xxxxxxxxxx. We would like to confirm the Walking Tour through the city for tomorrow. Do you want it in Spanish or English? Please confirm us (Carlos) by Whatsapp to the number below as soon as possible.
We re-checked out booking information and it said :
09:00 (Meet before start: 15 Hours)
Location : Alhambra, Calle Real de la Alhambra, Granada, España
So we immediately contacted Carlos and said we would like the tour in English and will will meet at the meeting point.
We arrived on time but no one there?
So we called the office 5 times and no one answered (phone just rings out).
I kept on trying and then a staff
Member answered. I explained the situation and it eventually came clear that we did not have to be there at 9am at the meeting point as there was no tour and it was self guided.
So we eventually found the link to mytoptours audio guide and guess what, the link didn’t work.
We tried calling again to get the correct link but could not get them to answer.
We ended up buying another two audio tickets at the venue ($12 Euro) and will never use this company again because of the confusing communications and you cannot get hold of them when you need them.

In short: Their confirmation email was late. After I called in the afternoon a day before the visit, they promised that confirmation and instructions and they did send it but around midnight!!!
After I found that email around 8 am, and my tour was scheduled for 9 am, I could NOT open the link named Meeting Point. So, i called and called and nobody was answering the phone!
We went to the entrance to Alhambra, where all other tours gather, and could NOT find anyone from Mytoptours! But, we heard a lot of not nice at all things about them!
Finally, around 9:15am, somebody answered the phone and, after a lot of trouble, I got my tickets sent to my Whatsup. Cant wait to see the roaming data and all the calling bill on my US cellphone....
Well, at least we entered the grounds and the palace. Of course, we didn't get any audio guide or anything else. I bought a book.
Later, i emailed them and asked for a partial refund and let's see what will happen.
Finally, i can say the way they function is not a good way to stay in business.

We deliberately booked our trip two weeks in advance and 3 days before we heard that the slot I booked wasn’t available anymore. I booked for 11 but the only possibility was 15.00. When I said that we couldn’t at 15 because of another thing we planned to do that day I got a very unkind and unprofessional reaction.
We couldn’t get our money back because ‘they already bought the ticket’, we got offered 50% of the money.
In hindsight; we shouldn’t have bought our tickets here. Expensive, unprofessional and very bad service.
Avoid at any cost.

Avoid these crooks. Avoid this agency. They’re well known crooks. Everyone knew about them at the Alhambra. This is how they do it : they advertise on Google search and come out tops. You think you’re ordering an official guided tour, you’re not. They’re private. So far so good. But then you get this message on the way of your visit « oh sorry your guide had a little accident and cannot give you the tour. She’s at the hospital and will be fine but you’ll have to do the tour yourself at the time of your choosing and we will partially reimburse you. You’re annoyed but it’s still ok. You show up there and your tickets are not valid for a visit of the Alhambra at all, just the gardens. « There has been an error » they respond « you never booked for the Alhambra visit ». They’re lying of course. Our print out tickets say so. Eventually Alhambra officials managed to help us and we had to buy new tickets 2*14 euros. Sheer luck 🍀 not possible in high season. We were told that My Top Tour is infamous for cancelling tours when they feel there are not enough participants. Btw they never responded to any of our message and calls.

My family and I are visiting during the busy Easter week in 2023. Most tours of Alhambra were sold out. I found an option to book an audioguided tour on this website. I put in all of the required information, and got an email saying that my request has been submitted, and i should wait for tickets as they were not confirmed. The email clearly says that this is not a sales contract. 24 hours later, i still dont have tickets, but in the meantime i had found another option. When i wrote to My Top Tours to cancel my booking request, i was told that i couldnt and i had entered into a contract with them the second i submitted by request. A minute after i requested to cancel, i got my tickets in my inbox. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. BEWARE.

Total rip-off. When searching the web to purchase tickets for Alhambra visit, they bill themselves as an official Alhambra website, which I unfortunately believed. Paid 45 euro per ticket, and realized once at the Alhambra that the price is 19 euro!!! These are crooks that take advantage of tourists, so don't do business with them. Make sure you go to the real official Alhambra website to buy tickets online.

this place is out of world - nice weather - very attractive and organized.
i would highly recommend the audio guide vs a person tour - that gives you chance to manage your time on your own and spend more in whatever one you prefer
