Glad we saw this unique part of Europe
Mar 2020
We took the Andalsur 1 day excursion to Gibraltar from Sevilla. Roman was an excellent guide and the day progressed without a hitch. David, our guide while in Gibraltar, was witty and informative. If you've already visited Cordoba, Ronda, and Italica, then British Gibraltar offers something different.

Gibraltar Day Trip from Seville

Great trip. Well worth the bus ride. Lots of interesting history and geography. Monkeys were a hoot. Could have used a little more time at Europa Point. I recommend this trip.

Great outing marred
Jan 2020
We headed out on time with a small group of 6 from Seville with Petra. She was lovely and gave us a lot of information along the way. Good sense of humor. Arrived and walked across the border which was fine, no problems. We had to wait for a plane to take off before we could continue and that was pretty cool to see. Had some free time in the square before we headed to another coach for our tour of the rock with a local guide from the Blands tour company. That's where it all went horribly wrong. Phil, the driver/guide was incredibly offensive, homophobic and misogynistic with his comments which he clearly thought were humorous. Not so, many of us were deeply offended by his rude comments. Caves decent to see. Be aware that there is a fair bit of walking on this tour including ups and downs. We didn't mind it at all, but others might. The whole experience would have been 5 stars except for that local guide who ruined the experience for us. I emailed Andalsur, the tour company in Seville and have yet to hear back.

Roman, our tour guide was knowledgeable and nice person.
Gibraltar is an interesting place, not very spectacular but I would recommend taking the tour for uniqueness and history.

Seville to Gibraltar
Dec 2019 • Family
Gibraltar was a must-see, if only for our own curiosity. The trip to the Rock was a disappointment in many levels:
The overdevelopment and tacky condo misplacements have completely ruined or swallowed all historical remnants of the past. You can even SEE the Rock unless you spend too much money and suffer long lines to cable ir coach to the top. Once there, the photo ops are again ruined by ill-placed architecture (the new mosque). This was an overpriced excursion. BK for 3 people was $65USD. The 6-7 monkeys and the St. Michael’s caves are “meh” Save for the nice bus ride from Seville to Gibraltar, this trip was a waste of time and money. My advice would be for you to rent a car, drive byvand yake pics. Head to Cadiz for more spectacular views.

great trip
Oct 2019
we started out early it takes two hours to get there.its well worth the trip.the coach was very comfortable. the guide zasaida was good and looked after us well. when you get off the coach there is a long walk to the border. you need to bring your passport. when you get to gibraltar you go to a smaller bus and a local guide eddie who was great he was great the main thing to see is the caves and the monkeys.they are gorgeous and you get close to them all differant sizes of monkeys. it was a great trip i highly recommend and at 98 euro i thought good value

Gibralter day trip
Oct 2019
I have to say the Gibraltar day trip met or exceeded my expectations. Our guild was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history and information on this place. It was nice that our van took us up near the top as it is a very steep climb and some of us are not as young as we were! The caves were ok. O could have done without the music and light show. Just regular lighting would have been fine. The restaurant recommendation for fish and child was Roys and it was very tasty and reasonable. The amount of time we spent in each place was about right. Ample time to get good phototgraphs.

A good view of the Africa and Atlantic. But kind of hush.

A very beautiful view at the Europe point and a perfect view from the rock of Gibraltar. But the viewing time is very limited. 10 minutes in Europe point totally not euough for us to enjoy the sea and the horn. also the minibus took us to the middle of the rock and return, other then the top where the cable car arrived. I feel lost a lot memory. Anyway good choice to be Gibraltar, but this journey kind of hush.

A quick highlight of Gibraltar
Sep 2019
We left at around 08:30 from Seville by coach to Gibraltar. The trip was long, almost 2hrs drive with a short pee stop half-way. Our guide Petra was very helpful and explained brief and interesting facts about Gibraltar even along the way. We should have left to St. Michael's Cave when we arrived but instead the plan changed for unknown reasons and we had 45 mins shopping before we went to the caves by mini-van. The caves were nice and the apes just outside were lovely. After the caves we went to Europa Point. The place was very nice and had a great view of the rock. Then we headed back to the shopping area were we had another 45 mins before we headed back to Seville. The trip was enjoyable but very quick with little time in Gibraltar.

It was a good 45 min walk from the border of Spain to the other side where they had a local tour guide take us around Gilbraltar. This was not disclosed in the itinerary. A quick tour around the area and entrance to St. Michaels cave.
