perfect in every way
Aug 2021
Had a fantastic day with my 3 sons aged 14+, the crew were attentive, the food was lovely and it was very well organised indeed. All Covid guidelines were adhered to and it did not interfere with our enjoyment. We took our own masks and snorkels which was advisable as they are currently not able to use shared ones. The Kayaks on the beach were fun too, only criticism was the day went too quick. We were blessed with some cloudy skies but make sure you wear sun tops and top up on sun cream, though plenty of shade on the boat. Thankyou so much for a memorable day.

Fabulous day trip !
Feb 2020 • Solo
This was a great, fun and entertaining day trip, enjoying lunch and drinks on a catamaran, and making landfall twice on La Graciosa to explore the beaches, and on the second occasion, explore some of Caleta de Sebo. Would highly recommend! Superb value too! Very friendly boat crew :D

Little disappointed
Sep 2019 • Couples
We were disappointed because there no music being played at all on the boat until we were getting off, that’s when you saw people relaxed and smiling . You are on the boat quite a long time and especially when you have stopped for lunch, swim and Jet Ski ride. It just lacked atmosphere. So because it lacked this fundamental aspect, it spoilt it for us. . The staff try their very best to entertain you, but it falls short. We’ve been on lots of these excursions so am able to compare. The food and lunch was adequate and the staff were lovely.

Best day of the holiday
Sep 2019 • Couples
Picked up from Matagorda, bus journey was fairly comfortable but a little long, but considering we had to go all the way up to the top of Lanzarote it makes sense and was totally worth it.
We hopped on a ferry (which we thought was the catamaran we were going to be on all day which would have been a bit disappointing) then to land on the volcanic island were we jumped on our real catamaran which was much more like the discription. Staff were super fun and very professional. Plenty of booze and snacks to start off with and some facts about the area on the way.
We stopped at a lovely location by the volcano and the "French beach" and we could kayak, stay on the boat, go to the beach, swim or snorkel. We swam and snorkeled and the fish were plentiful! So many amazing looking fish and crystal clear waters.
We came up on the boat for more drinks and lunch (which was lovely and accommodating for vegans!) And then jumped back in the sea for another relaxing swim.
Honestly can't describe how lovely the sea was and we kept saying how much of a lovely time we were having. Defo best day of the holiday and well worth the money.
Amazing views, good food, great staff, phenomenal waters and really fun!

Loooong Coach ride
Sep 2019
The two hour coach ride of pickup's from other hotels was looooong and by the time we got to the Ferry, we had enough.
The snacks were ok, but the drink was plentiful. The lunch was ok (pasta and sauce, with salad and a banana). What do you expect on a boat I suppose.
The overall time on the boat was good and the island was lovely.
My advice is that, unless you are happy to sit on a coach for two hours (each way), look for a boat trip that is nearer your hotel. There are plenty of them around.

Disappointing! Mis-sold by the Rep but staff working on the boats were friendly and accomodating
Sep 2019
When my partner booked this excursion with a rep near the Marina Rubicon the rep wrote on the 3 leaflets with 3 different types of sailing experiences with max amount of people for each one and prices : 1) catamaran with max of 12 people 2) Gourmet sailing max 8 people and 3) Catamaran tour of Graciosa and 18 People max. This information was written down on the leaflet so that my partner can show it to me later as i was not with him at the time.

We chose option number 3 and paid an initial deposit of €33 and in the end it was €118 in total.

Now to our surprise when we got on the catamaran we were expecting max 18 people, however, there was 50+ people on board. We felt like sardines in a can, not a pleasant experience at all! There is nothing luxurious about this at all. It was just so hectic and not enough room to move around and have the full experience of enjoying the views- not relaxing

FOOD: They served the tiniest amount of cava when we boarded with barely any tapas basically 1 inch of melon, 1 muscle in butter and garlic, 1 potato, 1 bread with some meats on. Then for lunch they served pasta with tomato sauce or tomato and tuna, banana and salad and bread.

DRINKS: Awful white and rose wine, very vinegary in taste and Stella Beer with soft drinks- they gave us 1 shot while sailing back to la Graciosa.

Resolution: We messaged the Rep and he said that "We must be getting mixed up" Then we explained that on the leaflet you gave us you wrote down max of 18 people, then the Rep replied "No the max capacity is 80 people" - We replied and said, This is obviously where the mix up occurred. 18 and 80 sounds very similar however, the fact that it was written down as one and eight thats where it was mis-sold, it is a shame that we did not keep the leaflets as i cleaned my bag before going on the excursion, otherwise I would have taken this further.

In the end, we were already in the boat, it was our last full day in Lanzarote and decided to just endure this madness and just go along with it. Luckily there was unlimited booze which helped ease the whole situation.

We would like to thank the staff of La Graciosa Sail, as they did an amazing job with making sure everyone was looked after, our Guide gave us some information on the coach on the way to the ferry and while on the catamaran which was great, and when i explained to him what happened, he ensured that we still had a good time even though it was not what we wanted.

NEVER GOING ON A CATAMARAN EVER AGAIN!

Hello Yvonne, we regret that your experience has been frustrated by the false expectations that we are not responsible for and that it seems to be due to a misunderstanding, however we are pleased to know that you still enjoyed the excursion.

Day Boat Trip
Sep 2019 • Family
To start the coach picked us up at 9.30am it then took 2 hours just to get to the ferry which was a bit of a disappointment. When we got on the catamaran we were welcomed with cava and canapés which was lovely. However very little canapés were served. The boat is very nice and the views were amazing however for €60 I personally do not think that the trip was worth the money as we expected a lot more in accordance with the advertisement.

Firstly the boat anchored, the crew out put down the ladders for everyone to swim and snorkel which was very lovely. However myself and my niece then decided we wanted to go to the private beach which requires a speed boat to take you to the beach (approx 2mins) otherwise the swim is very long. However we were told no as the speed boat had already done 2 trips. This was disappointing.

Then it was lunch time. The advertisement stated “Buffett lunch” this was not the case. We were served with pasta and a tuna sauce with bread and a small salad. This was very disappointing as we saw the staff eating freshly cooked chicken wings and garlic potatoes. The drinks selection was also limited only wine and beer no spirits but fizzy drinks. The advertisement also stated that after lunch the left over food would be thrown overboard to the fish and people could get out and swim with the fishes. This did not happen and if it did no one was called to watch or swim.

All this being said myself and my family did have a lovely time however it is not value for money. 40 euros would have been acceptable.

A big owful joke!
Aug 2019 • Couples
Outrageous program of 100 euro, it's a good way in order to stolen money to everyone. The original program says:"quiet and beutiful beaches, sail, swim, snorkel, kayak and relax in the cristal waters of La Grasiosa natural park and marine reserve." but... The total program worked for 3 hours and half of which 2 and half on the catamaran (1,5 hour in order to wait for staff cleaning dishes, in glasses and other), we visited only one beach for one hour and discover that the same beach was reacheble also by tourist jeep leaving from the haourbor. We came back half an hour before with high music accompanies with alcool...
Message for everybody, il hotels located in Lanzarote included: pay attention in order to which program you will suggest to your clients.

Avoid! Amazing place, poor and greedy tour company.
Aug 2019
La Graciosa is a beautiful island which I recommend but our experience with Graciosa Sail was very poor.

Bus journey from Playa Blanca takes 2 hours each way which I wouldn't mind if:

1) on the way in, the bus driver fell asleep on the wheel and woke up at the wrong side of the (very narrow) road with us passengers screaming. The police aware of it only stopped us at the port! It was horrible and made us extremely uneasy for the rest of the bus trip. No apologies about this was made

2) It is hard to blame the driver (who also drove us back!!) when his conditions were very poor. There was no air conditioning nor WINDOWS on the bus. Early in the morning was not too bad but 5pm in the afternoon we were on bikinis/shorts literally pouring water on our head because the heat was unbearable. We complained to the driver (the guide wasn't on the bus) but there was nothing he could do. This really ruined the experience.

These next 2 items wouldn't have bothered us as much if the rest of the trip was good but for a €50pp trip you expect more than:
3) pasta with canned tuna and red sauce when the other tours offer paella etc
4) packed Catamaran with everyone very squeezed on the deck.

Everyone on the bus said that they would write a complain. I did with everything mentioned here who responded the below and ignored my response. I felt obliged to write a bad review here which I REALLY don't like.

"The reality is that the bus (AMANDA) is a subcontractor, so do not worry that we will let the company that we work with know.

Really, what we want for our customers is to have the best trip and have a good time.
As for the menu it is also done because it is cooler and less heavy to be sailing and in the sun.

We are very sorry.
Thank you for letting us know."

Lovely trip of La Graciosa
Aug 2019 • Couples
Firstly book with the guy at the side of the Massala Lounge restaurant as he is really nice and gave us a discount which some don't.

We started off by getting a coach from our hotel Grand Teguise Playa which was pleasant. We then got on a boat ferry from La Graciosa marina, it was quite bumpy at times but I really enjoyed it along with the beautiful scenary.

Next we got on the catamaran which was nice and relaxing and we was greeted on board with sparkling wine. The staff brought round little snacks on cocktail sticks ie garlic potatoes, cheese and tomato, french bread, crisps etc and there was pop, cans of lager and wine which you helped yourself to. Me and my partner had 4 cans of lager throughout the trip so we never went without a drink.

We stopped in the sea by the beach and was told we could get the taxi boat to the beach to kayak, snorkel or stay on the catamaran and swim round the boat. I was torn as I love swimming in the sea but wanted to kayak so got the taxi boat.

The kayaking was fun and everyone that wanted a go got one. We stayed on the beach for a bit and swam in the sea before getting the taxi boat back to the catamaran.

There was tomato pasta or tuna pasta with cheese if you wanted, french bread, a bowl of lovely dressed salad and a banana. There was plenty of food and I couldn't eat it all. After everybody had eaten me and my partner were watching the fish in the sea and was told we could get in and have a swim around the boat and snorkel which was amazing!

On the way back to the boat ferry they gave everyone a shot and put on some dance songs which was fun.

The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming and we had fun the whole journey.

We had a fantastic day out but we've given it 4 stars due to the stoney beach, there were other beaches that looked lovely and sandy so we was a bit dissappointed to go to the one we went to.

The food was nice but it would have been better to have a meat option if it was chicken or even ham pasta.

All in all a great day out!!
