    THE Madrid Food Tour
This was legit the best food tour I’ve been on. Our guide, Mario, was truly excellent and super engaged. The food itself was good local flavors, exactly the things you want to try but don’t want to commit a full meal to. Ending the night with cut the line access to a rooftop bar is just icing on the cake. Overall, super pleased.

    Toledo - Jewish History
What I did see of Toledo was lovely. I highly recommend going to get out of the city. But I booked it thinking there would be an hour spent in the Jewish Quarter with an overview of Jewish life there before 1492, as per the description on your site. Toledo is known as the little Jerusalem of Spain. I booked the trip ONLY for that reason wanting to have an understanding of Jewish history in Spain. But that was not the case. The tour description needs to be modified. Our guide Laura was very knowledgeable and she walked me to the Jewish quarter to explain for a few minutes a bit of the history - seeing my disappointment upon learning there was no time dedicated. Laura spoke perfect English and translated at the small vineyard we went to as well. The high score here is for Laura as she was very articulate and presented the history of Spain so well. Toledo is beautiful. The vineyard experience was so nice. However, in all fairness, the tour description was misleading.

    Better than excellent
Laura was an excellent tour guide. We loved that she constantly kept track of our group that we were together. The maps she provided was over and above what we expected to help us tour Toledo. She did a phenomenal job with the winery. All in all we are definitely recommending this tour to our friends who are visiting Spain in September and any others in the future.

My husband and I went on this tour yesterday and definitely wouldn’t recommend it for guest who only speak English.

Pros:
1) Getting to see highlights (very rushed) of 3 cities. Definitely don’t think Ávila had much to offer. I would recommend doing a two-city trip instead to Toledo and Segovia only because they both appeared to have more we wanted to see.
2) The bus had working A/C and select seats had USB ports to charge your devices.

Cons:
1) Our guide, Diego was very detailed with his tour information in Spanish, per my husband who speaks Spanish as his first language. However (I mean this in the most respectful way possible) his English pronunciation was very difficult to understand. I feel like I missed so much of the interesting historical details due to this issue. This was very frustrating as the tour language listed is “English”…not even bilingual so if nothing else…I wish I could have understood the English.
2) The included lunch was not worth it. Started with a vegetable soup, then a dry overcooked piece of steak (which hardly anyone in the tour ate) and 2.5 potato wedges, followed by dessert which was a berry cake and the best thing we were served. Still and carbonated water bottles were placed on the community table to share as well as 2 bottles of wine for our entire group which was 20 something people. If you want soft drinks or anything else, you have to pay extra.
3) You are on the bus for many hours and it’s definitely not comfortable enough for that length of journey. No bathroom on board so make sure you go at every stop. No foot rests to come down for added support. We left at 8am and returned at 7:30.

This trip does deliver what it promises to: three cities in one day. However, you’ll see three cities at the expense of a really excellent tour, insightful information and the feeling that you really saw and got a feel for each city.
At the most, we spent about an hour in each of the three cities. In Toledo, we had a brief tour of a cathedral and were then deposited as a group into a souvenir shop and given a location to meet at after we finished shopping. I had really wanted to see the Jewish quarter and the Muslim quarter and to learn about the history in Toledo. However, all we learned about was some symbolism in the cathedral, and pointed in the direction of the “best” place to buy X, Y or Z. So that was disappointing.
Segovia and Ávila were about the same. About 5 minutes of information imparted to us from our tour guide, followed by some time to buy souvenirs and a time to meet back at the bus.
It was a huge group. There were 60 people on this tour, which I didn’t realize it would be. I prefer smaller, more personal tours with about 8 or 10 people so we can ask questions and learn a lot.
If your goal is simply to set foot in 3 cities in one day and the history lesson is less important to you, then this would be a good trip to do. If you truly want to learn about each city and be able to speak intelligibly about each location, I recommend dedicating a full day tour to just one location and choosing a smaller tour.

The tour was very rushed and allowed only a very short time in each city, specifically Toledo and Avila. Our tour guide, Juan Carlos was very unprofessional and rude. When we got lost on our way back to the bus he did not offer to come and find us or help us. When we finally got back to the bus he reprimanded us for being late. He did not give us a very knowledgeable history of each city, which he could’ve done during our drives in between each city.

The cities were beautiful but unfortunately we did not enjoy this tour due to this tour guide. The amount of information and what we saw on the tour did not match the price of the tour, which was too expensive for what we got in the end.

Other reviews of this tour with other guides were exceptional. Sadly this was not.

Guide was very informative and friendly. He covered a lot of history of the 3 cities.
Suggestions to help improve the trip- Ride was not comfortable at all, 3 of the seats were facing against the traffic and facing the 3 other tourists- it made us dizzy and not good for sight seeing. Bathroom breaks, few minutes to visit souvenir shops and stores of each city will be nice if allotted in the trip. If seating arrangement is fixed and above suggestions are included, I will definitely recommend the trip.

Our guide, Juan Carlos was an exceptional tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and provided insight into the history of each city. The pace allowed us to see the highlight attractions in each city. Juan Carlos provided specific times for our group to meet. This helped us stay on schedule and see all the sites. There was a group of people within our group who were late to the initial departure point and who were also late to the bus at our first stop in Toledo (one of them had two armloads of shopping bags) when she returned to the bus. This group delayed the rest of us a total of an hour. Juan Carlos handled the matter very professionally. It is essential that all members of the group respect the others by being on time. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see three Medieval cities in one day. Juan Carlos was an amazing guide who happens to take the best pictures to capture your memories of these magical places.

First off, this tour is amazing. With Tamar's knowledge and interaction with everyone, it made it fun! We learned a lot about the history and significance of each place we visited, We visited Segovia first, toured the castle, just make sure you have good and comfortable shoes since this is a walking tour. there are stairs too. Tamar would make sure we stopped at photo op sites and get the mandatory selfies or group photos. We stopped for lunch at Avila (included in the tour) and pretty tasty spanish offerings on the menu. our last stop was Toledo where we got to watch the sunset and see a wonderful historic city. Highly recommend this tour if you want to cover 3 cities and you don't have a lot of time to spend. Thanks again Tamar, we all started as strangers on this tour and ended the tour as friends!

I had a great time visiting Segovia, Avila, and Toledo in one day. It definitely made me want to come back and spend more time at each city. Our tour guide Juan Carlos was very knowledgeable and shared facts about Spanish history as well as the architecture and landmarks. He also takes great photos! Our driver Enrique was great and we had a smooth ride the whole way. I would recommend this tour to anyone who prefers small groups and wants to see the main important points of each city but does not have a ton of time.

This was our first time visiting Spain, and we found that this was a very nice tour to introduce us to the many beautiful cities in Spain. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Spain for the first time, or even these 3 cities for the first time. Overall, transportation from city to city was very comfortable and the restaurant we ate lunch in was very good, and it even had a nice view. Although we weren’t able to see absolutely everything in each city, it was still worth the trip since we were able to see all of the major attractions; a second trip definitely needs to be made. Our tour guide, Diego, was very attentive to everyone in the group and was very informed on each of the cities. Really enjoyed it and hope to be back in these cities soon!

Our hosts were Diego and German and our driver was Carmelo. The tour itself is a great way to see 3 of the closest cities to Madrid and generally well organised. The lunch that was included was surprisingly quite good (I have quite low expectations for the meals that get included). Walking tours are included in the price but experience may vary depending on the size of the group and your proximity from the tour guide as a result. That being said, the guides were very knowledgeable and happy to help- just be aware that if the guided tour is the main attraction, you may want to plan accordingly... Overall I would recommend this for anyone looking to see a collection of sites and cities without worrying about logistics etc.

At first I thought it was impossible but honestly I experienced so much in a day with each cities distinct beauty and history I fell in love with each one and opened my mind to adventures to stay longer in each city next time, which I could not even have known without this opportunity. Met a lot of ppl from different places while on the trip which made it all the more fun. Our tour guide was excellent , punctual and informative so we could get the most out of every city. I loved it and I highly recommend it if you want the most culture food and views of cities just outside Madrid for your trip which you would otherwise be oblivious to in one awesome day
