Good way to highlight 3 cities in one trip. Some beautiful and amazing sights. Reasonably priced. Pick up and drop off clear. Expected English only tour based on booking but was mixed Spanish-English ( tour operator needs to be clearer in booking) Guide ( Diego) provided good history background

Avila was a bonus for us as we were not intending to go there. Bus ride was reasonable Meal needs work ~ appetizer and dessert okay but main meal rates as low. Microphone cutting in and out difficult to hear guide. There was a great photo opportunity on the way out of Avila that I would recommend the tour stop for 5-10 min just for picture It had a monument there which was noted by the guide but it also had a great view of the city

It would be nice to have had an itinerary for the day - transport time, time in cities, sights to be seen prior to the trip (ie attached to the booking)

I had a great time visiting Segovia, Avila, and Toledo in one day. It definitely made me want to come back and spend more time at each city. Our tour guide Juan Carlos was very knowledgeable and shared facts about Spanish history as well as the architecture and landmarks. He also takes great photos! Our driver Enrique was great and we had a smooth ride the whole way. I would recommend this tour to anyone who prefers small groups and wants to see the main important points of each city but does not have a ton of time.

Since we only had a few days in Madrid, this tour was a great way to experience the incredible highlights of each of these three cities—the beautiful vistas, the cathedrals, the castle, the Roman aqueduct, etc. Well worth it! Our tour guide Diego was excellent—very informative and careful to make sure all tour members were included. Though it requires substantial travel time from city to city, it was interesting to see the countryside and our bus driver was outstanding in navigating the roads. Be prepared to walk! For those who struggled, there were benches and spots to take breaks and rest. We highly recommend this tour, if you don’t mind packing in a lot of outstanding sights in a short time.

Our hosts were Diego and German and our driver was Carmelo. The tour itself is a great way to see 3 of the closest cities to Madrid and generally well organised. The lunch that was included was surprisingly quite good (I have quite low expectations for the meals that get included). Walking tours are included in the price but experience may vary depending on the size of the group and your proximity from the tour guide as a result. That being said, the guides were very knowledgeable and happy to help- just be aware that if the guided tour is the main attraction, you may want to plan accordingly... Overall I would recommend this for anyone looking to see a collection of sites and cities without worrying about logistics etc.

My husband and I went on this tour yesterday and definitely wouldn’t recommend it for guest who only speak English.

Pros:
1) Getting to see highlights (very rushed) of 3 cities. Definitely don’t think Ávila had much to offer. I would recommend doing a two-city trip instead to Toledo and Segovia only because they both appeared to have more we wanted to see.
2) The bus had working A/C and select seats had USB ports to charge your devices.

Cons:
1) Our guide, Diego was very detailed with his tour information in Spanish, per my husband who speaks Spanish as his first language. However (I mean this in the most respectful way possible) his English pronunciation was very difficult to understand. I feel like I missed so much of the interesting historical details due to this issue. This was very frustrating as the tour language listed is “English”…not even bilingual so if nothing else…I wish I could have understood the English.
2) The included lunch was not worth it. Started with a vegetable soup, then a dry overcooked piece of steak (which hardly anyone in the tour ate) and 2.5 potato wedges, followed by dessert which was a berry cake and the best thing we were served. Still and carbonated water bottles were placed on the community table to share as well as 2 bottles of wine for our entire group which was 20 something people. If you want soft drinks or anything else, you have to pay extra.
3) You are on the bus for many hours and it’s definitely not comfortable enough for that length of journey. No bathroom on board so make sure you go at every stop. No foot rests to come down for added support. We left at 8am and returned at 7:30.

Toledo was definitely the highlight with its magnificent Cathedral. The major plaza and the Aqueduct built during Roman times are definitely worth visiting. Our guide, Diego, was very helpful and knowledgeable. A little improvement in his voice modulation and waiting for a little while so that the group can assemble prior to pointing out a small detail will raise his stature as a Tourist Guide.

This was our first time visiting Spain, and we found that this was a very nice tour to introduce us to the many beautiful cities in Spain. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Spain for the first time, or even these 3 cities for the first time. Overall, transportation from city to city was very comfortable and the restaurant we ate lunch in was very good, and it even had a nice view. Although we weren’t able to see absolutely everything in each city, it was still worth the trip since we were able to see all of the major attractions; a second trip definitely needs to be made. Our tour guide, Diego, was very attentive to everyone in the group and was very informed on each of the cities. Really enjoyed it and hope to be back in these cities soon!

What an unforgettable trip! This was a last minute purchase that turned out to be the best purchase!

Juan Carlos II, the guide, was awesome! He‘s very good at telling us about Spain’s history as it pertains to our trip. He’ll tell you where the best spots are for taking pictures. He’s passionate about art, especially about the art inside Toledo’s cathedral. He could speak 3 languages, and is almost a walking Google Translate. He was very accomodating, and he tries his best to answer questions. He was very clear at stating when and where the meeting place is. He even treated us to the best view of Toledo, “his playground.”

Jose Antonio was the best and safest driver I’ve ever met. He navigated the narrow streets carefully.

I didn’t have much time in Madrid, and I wanted to see as much of Spain as I can. People commented about not having as much time on each city on the past reviews that I read. Bear in mind that this trip goes over the highlights of each city, which it did very well. I tried to make an itinerary for these 3 cities but it would have been almost impossible to fit 3 cities in one day if I were to do it alone. And think of all the money and time you’re saving because of the transportation that you’d have to use if you were to do it by yourself! I would say that if you feel rushed, then it means that it’s worth another visit to the cities. As Juan Carlos said “nunca adiós!”

My only recommendation, and it’s not a big deal, is to make a sign for the seats of the tour guides so that the tourists know not to take the front seats.

This is an excellent small group tour on a bus that only fits up to 15 people. The majority of the group are adults and it is very nice for teenagers and people that want to see the highlights of each city without spending a long time at each site. It is very well organized with a nice stop for included lunch that has a great view of the walls of Avila. The tour guide speaks English very well and gave us good information about each site. This was a perfect tour to take older children and teenagers.

My main recommendation is not to schedule on a Sunday where the cathedrals are closed for mass.

Excellent tour! I took my 80 year old Nana and it was a perfect mix of walking and resting. We learned a vast amount about each city and were able to capture some fantastic photos. Juan Carlos was very patient, knowledgeable, and kind! Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to get in a few extra cities in a short amount of time, visit some beautiful monuments, and meet some fellow travelers while in Madrid!
