If you don't have much time in Rome, this is a convenient way to get a bunch of the main sights covered. The skip the line helps a lot, especially at the Colosseum. Joseph was knowledgeable and funny. My only complaint is that I wish...More
Get an overview of Rome’s top attractions and ancient ruins on this morning or afternoon walking tour, a great way for visitors to orient themselves. Skip past the long ticket lines at the Colosseum and Roman Forum, and discover more about the icons' history than you would on your own (signage is infrequent at the Forum in particular). Plus, enjoy quick stops at the Trevi Fountain and other landmarks. Choose to tour with a small group limited to 12 or a larger group of no more than 25.
Your Rome walking tour begins when you meet your guide outside the metro Colosseo stop in Rome, at least 20 minutes before your scheduled morning or afternoon departure.
You’re guaranteed to skip the long lines with your guide as you enter the Colosseum and explore the first and second levels, listening to tales (via headset) of the bloody gladiator fights that occurred in the arena.
The next stop is the Roman Forum, where you’ll explore the ruins and hear stories of ancient Rome. See, too, the Arch of Septimius Severus and the Temple of Vespasian and Titus.
Continue to the historic center of Rome to pose for photos in front of the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona.
After you bid your guide farewell at Piazza Navona in central Rome, you’ll be free to continue exploring Rome independently.
